This one was my first game online. Thanks to it, now you can see me in online scene. This was an important game for me, and for many others too. It's totally free and the only way to get it is by downloading.

It's a FPS. You have to fight in some scenaries of the World War II. It doesn't need the original Return To Castle Wolfenstein to run, it's just another game. The map are not so much bigger, 10-20 players are enough for have fun. It also don't need a much powerful PC, I think for example that Falcon too can play it. Most of you can play BF 2, so there is no problem for you!!!

I started to play this in 2002, if I remember well. I liked it from the beginning. It is a very simple game. What do you need for get in a server? Just go on PLAY ONLINE in the menu and then select a server (there are hundred of server at everytime active) with a good ping. Then just wait for connecting, then for make the server control you're OK (for example, it control the version of the punkbuster, if it's too old it may not access the server, or it will say Server is full, or it will disconnect coz of a wrong CD Key) then wait another time. Last time will appear Awaiting Gamestate: this means that the server is checking out your files and, if you don't have some map that the server is running, or the server is running another version or a mod you don't have, it will download automatically for you.

If all it's ok, and if you have to download nothing, you will be in the server in just 5-10 seconds.

Anyway, about the game, I said it's very simple. There is a promoting system, difficult to explain but I try anyway:

There are 3 little "columns" on the HUD. One is for Light weapon (All the weapons except Panzerfaust, Mortar, Flamethrower, mobile MG-42, MG-42, engineer rifle when used as granade launcher, sniper weapons when used with scope), the central is about your movements and the range of viewing and the last depends on the class you have choosed.

When you enter a server you have to choose a faction (axis or allies) or to be a spectator. Then you have to decide 5 classes: Soldier, Medic, Engineer, Field Ops, Covert Ops.

Soldier: with this class you can chose many weapons. It's available a panzerfaust, a mobile MG-42, flamethrower, a mortar and the classical Thompson (for allies)/MP-40 (for axis). This class is the best choice for who is new. What this class have to do is just to kill enemy players. The last column of promotion (that based on what class you have choosed) is about high weapons (all available in this class except Thompson/MP-40).

Medic: this class have to heal teammates and/or revive them if they're heavely wounded. For heal a man there is the medic kit. But when a man is down and dying, he can use a syringe for "revive" him. It's a very important class in every moment. It is also very strong in combat thanks to its healty (it have more healty than every class) and because it can heal him self. It's available just a Thompson/MP-40. The bad thing of this class is that it haven't much ammo. The last column of promotion is about how much you can use and increase of utility of medic stuff.

Engineer: the most important class. It can plant/defuse dynamites, construct things, plant mines. If in a team there is an engineer, it would be a lot better if you choose that class. A team without an engineer is nothing. By being an engineer you can choose 2 weapons, Thompson/MP-40 or a rifle also used as granade launcher. The last column of promotion is about the speed you can plant dynamites, mines or for construction.

Field Ops: by choosing this class you can give ammo to your teammates or to your self. You can also call for air support or for artillery. The available weapons are Thompson/MP-40. The last column of promotion is about how much you can use Field Ops stuff.

Covert Ops: This class is like sniper. You can choose 3 weapons: the silenced Sten (without scope), FG-42 (with scope) and the silenced engineer modified rifle (with scope). This class can also use what I call C4 of World War II: Bombs (not powerful as dynamites) that have distance detonation. This class is really great in open fields where they can see much distances targets and have a great vision range. Someone say there are maps just done for snipers. This class also may take enemy uniform from casualties. But remember that when you don't shoot with a silenced weapon when you got enemy uniform you will be spotted as a spy. The last column of promotion is about how much ou aim better with scope and with how much difficult the others can see that you token their uniform from a body.

Now another thing to say, in the HUD there are 2 "things" in the bottom right. That green is stamina. It will consume if you always jump by pressing the spacebar or by always run more faster then usual by pressing Shift. The other white "thing" is about how much you can use the class staff. Both of these can recharge after a short time. The Command post can be constructed by engineer and destroyed by engineer or Covert Ops. This CP increase the speed of recharge of the white one.

Tip 1: I often press Shift when I'm fighting face on face against another enemy for my self more faster and for confuse the enemy. When the enemy is far I use X for make my self prone and shoot better.

Tip 2: When you are a Covert Ops and you take an enemy uniform you will see that body without part of clothes. Remember enemy guys can see the body and alert their selves! So launch a granade on the body or detonate a C4 on it for no suspects.

Tip 3: When you are shooting a man, always aim his head!!! He will lose 60 hp if you shoot on that and your fight will be shortly.

Tip 4: The Covert Ops can also see the enemy mines and make them see from the others teammates. Simple press B for aim with the binocule and watch the terrain you think there are landmines. If there is something, after a short time the landmine will showed to your eyes and to temmates' eyes!

Tip 5: Remember that for call artillery when you are a Field Ops you need to equip the binocule and left click on the target.

After all it's a very simple game. You may say "man, after all this for explain how to play, you say it's simple, you're crazy!" But it's not coz of the game I wrote so much but coz of my mother fucker knowledge of english!

I become an expert soon. You can download it from Xfire, simple, it's bigger 257 MB. Click here:
