Hey again, its been awhile ^^. I'll be posting some info on the Regnum Irae guild's progress in this thread, and i will try be as simple as possible so other gamers can understand aswell and not just WoW players. The original plan of the Regnum Irae guild was to grow into a raiding guild and be competitive with other guilds on the server, not top guilds but good enough to make a mark on the list. This plan didnt go through because of a simple thing like too much school. Instead, we stayed as a smaller guild and tried to raid the 10 man instances (there are 25 man and 10 man instances, all instances are filled with boss fights and thrash mobs, all computer controlled). At our best time we had 10 swedes from our own class in school playing together in raids. We had a blast but we soon found it difficult to get together at times. In the end 2 of our friends quit the game, and another switched server. And some left for other guilds to see more content (instances). A few of us remained, mainly Me (my character named Tífa), Ransom (RI member aswell) and two of our real life friends who arent in the Regnum Irae community AFAIK. We held true to the banner of Regnum Irae. But few as we were things got quiet boring doing nothing. I had experience leading raids eveer since i started playing WoW. And with this in mind we began creating PUG's, or Pick Up Groups, which basicly are random people put together to raid instances. PUG's are usually quiet unreliable and might not make it far into an instance. But with my experience with raiding and leading and with some good core players like Ransom in the raid we now do PUG's every friday with around 20 other people to form 25 man raids. I enjoy doing this as i get to know both the bad and the good people on our server, and i also get to lead raids which i so much enjoy. Its fun how many times people have asked: "Are you a serious raiding guild?" "How far have you gone in terms of progress?". My answer always being something like: "We're just a few players enjoying doing PUG's". Many have also asked to join the guild, in which i usually say that we arent recruiting anything as of yet since we arent doing any schedueled raiding. Today we are still doing the PUG's every friday. And we have plans on recruiting members if i do not get too much pressure on me in university. In the end we might be a top guild after all. Guilds have even asked us if we could join them, i always told them that we are bonded with the Regnum Irae community. I have so many memories with Regnum Irae and i am proud to be carrying the banner forward in battle. If you're playing WoW! Head over to our server and lets make a name for ourselves! And soon when you can transfer character to another faction (From Alliance to Horde of vice versa) we can easily get together, wherever we are! Opressa Resurgit !
