![]() * * * THIS IS WHERE YOU'LL CAST A VOTE FOR EVERY TRIBAL COUNCIL THAT YOU ARE A PART OF. * * * When you're placing your vote, it will be done here in this same thread each time. You'll make a comment here stating the name of the person you want to vote out. And then just like on SURVIVOR - give a few reasons why you're voting them out. Anything at all. Say whatever you want. All the votes you cast here will be kept confidential until after the game when everyone's Confessionals and Voting Booths will be "unlocked." It's up to you whether you want to tell people how you voted as the game goes along, and it's up to them whether they want to believe you. A FEW KEY POINTS: 1) Anytime you think you may not be able to be online for a particular challenge, or if you can't be online before the voting deadline........ YOU MUST POST A COMMENT IN YOUR VOTING BOOTH, CASTING A "PRE-VOTE" FOR THE PERSON YOU WANT TO VOTE OUT OF THE GAME. Do the exact same thing you'd do for casting a normal vote........but make sure you make it specific that it's your PRE-VOTE. And be sure to leave a back-up vote. I would recommend leaving at least two back-up votes since you never know what might happen. 2) There will ALWAYS be a deadline for casting a vote. (it will typically be around 15 minutes once a deadline is given) I WILL ALWAYS STATE THE EXACT TIME OF THE DEADLINE EACH ROUND AT TRIBAL COUNCIL. Failure to cast a vote before the deadline, or failure to cast a pre-vote ahead of time.....this will result in receiving a PENALTY VOTE against yourself at Tribal Council. You don't want Penalty Votes. They count against you just like a normal vote. 3) I give a ONE MINUTE GRACE PERIOD on voting deadlines. Translation - say the deadline was 9:45pm. Yours comes in at 9:46. I will count that by the hair of your chinny-chin-chin. But if it shows 9:47.......that's a penalty vote. Basically stated: plan to participate, plan to login and cast your vote before the deadline, or plan to cast a pre-vote if you ever need to be away from the game during a challenge or when votes are being cast. 4) You can always cast a pre-vote AT ANY TIME, whether you think you can make it for a challenge or not. Just make sure you make it very obvious by stating that you're casting a PRE-VOTE. If you make NO CHANGES to your pre-vote, it will count. But if you end up being able to be online during the voting and you want to change your pre-vote before the deadline........you are allowed to do that. And if you know you're keeping your pre-vote the same, you might as well post a confirmation of that in your Voting Booth to speed things along. Otherwise, I will just sit here and wait until the deadline passes before I reveal the results. 5) However, once you have cast your regular vote.......YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHANGE IT. Think of it like the real Survivor. Once you've dropped that piece of parchment in the voting urn.........it's a done deal. (The ONLY vote you can ever change is a pre-vote.) A PRE-VOTE IS ANYTHING YOU CAST BEFORE I'VE OFFICIALLY STATED THAT VOTING IS OPEN. ANY VOTE YOU CAST AFTER I STATE WHAT THE VOTING DEADLINE IS ~ THAT IS PERMANENT AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE THAT. NOTES REGARDING TIES: In the event of a tie, we will do a RE-VOTE. If the re-vote does not break the tie and we remain DEADLOCKED........I will then reveal how a deadlocked tie will be broken for that particular round. It will remain a mystery unless it comes into play. TIES & PRE-VOTES: Anyone can leave me detailed instructions in their Voting Booth if they're not around. It would have to be stated VERY CLEAR what the intentions are. Like, I want to vote for A, but if there's a tie between A and B, I want to switch and re-vote B. Otherwise, I'll use lists from top to bottom that are posted in here as follows...... *If a vote ever ends up tied, when we re-vote, I will use votes in the order they are left based on who is eligible. i.e. Someone leaves a pre-vote of Person A in their Voting Booth with a backup of Person B just in case. *Now, the vote ends up tied between Person A and Person X. *The pre-vote for Person A is what I would automatically use for their re-vote. *But if the vote was tied between Person B and Person X, I would use the pre-vote of Person B since they were 2nd on the list....... ........(but Person A is not in the tie) THE EASIEST WAY TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION IS TO BE HERE. DON'T CAST A VOTE AND LOG OFF. THERE COULD BE A RE-VOTE. Hope everything makes sense. Please comment here so I know you've read it. Feel free to ask any questions. |

Let me know if I'm understanding correctly... So I only have approximately 15 minutes between losing an immunity challenge (if my tribe loses) and the deadline for casting my tribal council vote? |

The losing tribe will meet me at the Tribal Council section in your tribe area after immunity is awarded. We'll have a brief discussion there, and then I will make a very specific post that says basically: "The deadline to place your vote in your Voting Booth will be X:XX." At that point, I turn messages back on for the losing tribe, and then you can privately message your tribemates to discuss voting options. |

How much time normally passes/lapses between the end of a Tribal Council and the actual deadline for turning in our votes? |

It will be very obvious. We'll be chatting at Tribal Council. Then I'll say something like "Anything else before we vote?" Then I'll post what is the exact deadline, which is 15 minutes from then. Basically, once a challenge ends........don't go anywhere. Stay online for TC and it will all make sense.

I'm going to cast a PRE-VOTE for tonight's Tribal Council, 6/26/2016, in the event my tribe (Jaburu) loses and has to go to Tribal Council. My PRE-VOTE is for: JEANNE In the event that Jeanne is kidnapped by Tambaqui, my BACKUP PRE-VOTE is for: DANIEL My intent is to either re-confirm this or else change my vote (if something new develops) once the voting deadline is announced). I'm doing it as a precaution in case something (technologically) wonky/fluky happens on my end during the events of tonight. If my tribe wins immunity, I'm assuming my PRE-VOTES would become irrelevant? |

Pre-votes would be irrelevant, yes, if they are not needed. And I would not count a pre-vote for the following round if nothing else is posted. So yeah, pre-voting is good only for the specific date it's posted for. |

6/28/2016 (Day 6) *If* my tribe (Jamburu) goes to Tribal Council tonight, my vote is for: DANIEL In the event that Daniel is kidnapped by Tambaqui, my backup vote would be for: ROB Crossing my fingers for a Jamburu victory and no technical difficulties on my end (or ANYBODY'S end). |

For 6/30/2016 Tribal Council Pre-Voting: *If* my tribe (Jamburu) goes to Tribal Council tonight, my vote is for: DANIEL In the event that Daniel is kidnapped by Tambaqui, my backup vote would be for: ROB Same as last time, essentially. Crossing my fingers for no power outages on my end. |

6/30/2016 My vote remains the same as in the pre-vote. It's still for: DANIEL "Sorry to do this, bro. I mainly went with the majority, because I really want to at least make the jury. A round of drinks for us is on me, after the game is over." |
