Administrator Posts: 2,359 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: 03/13/15	~ FLAG TASK ~ Each tribe needs to work together to design your own Tribal Flag. * * * NOTHING IS ON THE LINE. IT'S NOT A COMPETITION. * * * However . . . . YOU WILL LEARN VERY VALUABLE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW YOUR TRIBE FUNCTIONS...... ........SO I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE EACH OF YOU TO HAVE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN THIS TASK. USE THIS SAME SPACE TO DISCUSS YOUR FLAG IDEAS. YOU CAN FIND & SHARE PHOTOS HERE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO. How you all get your Flag completed is up to you as a team. BRAINSTORM TOGETHER . . . . 1) Your Tribe Color is GOLD. 2) Figure out who wants to do what........ various tribe members can search on Photobucket or other photo sites for pictures that could represent your tribe. Anything to do with Survivor or our location. BE AS CREATIVE AS YOU WANT. 3) THINGS YOU MUST INCLUDE: *OUR SURVIVOR: RETURN TO THE AMAZON LOGO* (you can grab it from the Check-In thread, from the banner at the top, or the small version from my avatar) *A PHOTO OF EACH OF YOUR TRIBE CHARACTERS* (including a voted out person) *THE NAMES OF ALL EIGHT OF YOUR TRIBE CHARACTERS* (including a voted out person) *YOUR TRIBE NAME* *INCORPORATE YOUR TRIBE COLOR........ UTILIZE THAT INTO YOUR FLAG DESIGN HOWEVER YOU WISH* If you'd like to check out some examples from previous seasons, click on these links: *FLAG EXAMPLES - SEASONS 1 THRU 7* *FLAG EXAMPLES - SEASONS 8 THRU 14* But don't just try to copy something that's been done before. GET CREATIVE! (((Also think of the bigger examples on there as a good measurement for the size of your Flag. Please don't make it something really small.))) Soooooooo . . . . Start figuring out what each of you likes to do, or is good at, or needs practice with. If someone is good with Photoshop & wants to piece the flag together -- cool. But try to get everyone on your tribe involved. Ideally, divide tasks amongst yourselves. If no one has Photoshop........ almost every computer has the Paint program. It's easy to work with. *If NO ONE CAN FIGURE OUT ANY OF THIS & HOW TO GET A FLAG CREATED, PLEASE MESSAGE ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU SOME TIPS.* *BUT IDEALLY, THIS IS FOR YOU ALL TO DISCOVER HOW YOU WORK TOGETHER AS A TRIBE.* Once someone has your flag draft ready...... PLEASE SAVE IT TO YOUR COMPUTER AS A .JPEG FILE (whoever is completing the Flag) THEN JUST UPLOAD IT TO www.imgur.com or www.tinypic.com & THEN YOU CAN POST THE PHOTO HERE IF YOU'D LIKE INPUT FROM YOUR TRIBE. * * *PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD THE FLAG TO PHOTOBUCKET OR ANY SITE THAT HAS A REGISTERED ACCOUNT. JUST USE THE PHOTO SITES I MENTIONED THAT ARE COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS. * * * Once your final flag is ready to go, whoever is compiling it needs to clarify in your tribal space that it's finished. He'll go back approximately 7:30pm Central this Tuesday. But your Flag would need to be completed well before then.

Hard to do this in two days while we all have busy offline lives. I see this as an exercise in delegating/relinquishing control...not in making sure we all get in a room and workshop something. That being said I have a free half hour right now and am almost done banging something out. Feel free to suggest revisions or starting from square one with something new. Just want to get something out there for folks to react to.

Member Posts: 467 Group: Jury House Member #7 Joined: 05/23/16	I agree with Jenna. If someone is good enough to design a flag, I don't see why we need to workshop it to get all the ideas in there. At the end of the day it is just a flag. The big question is does anyone want to step up?

Member Posts: 467 Group: Jury House Member #7 Joined: 05/23/16	Option two has a more simple vibe to it, a bit more of a consistent color scheme with the snakes, and the snakes don't take too much attention away from the rest of the flag like the river might.
