Conclusion

Even though this kits origins date back to 1959 this is a kit that thoroughly deserves to be re-issued.
If how good a kit is measured by how much of a smile it puts on your face then Im calling this kit very good.
In places its obviously an old kit but with excellent new decals with a very colourful option on them ( must admit that the superb box art well and truly caught my attention) its well worth the RRP.
The kit comes with thread for the rigging , which is shown in the instructions and is not to hard to do , and by doing so adds enormously to the finished build.

I would recommend this kit to all except maybe the absolute beginner.
Its an oldie but its a Golden Oldie.
Well done Revell :thumb:

Nice finish Andy, she looks really good. Did you leave the inspection panels as removable or are they glued in place? I'm thinking of gluing them on mine.

Lol.

Ive glued them on Lol ......they fit quite snug so you could attach them without gluing to show off the inside if you are doing some extra detail , just seen your built up cockpit ...very nice mate

Ill keep me airbrush ;)
I find hand brushing very soothing and theraputic
Sometimes its a simple case of I cant be bothered with the "mix/spray/clean/clean a bit more" ....so I get me trusty Hairy Stick and me Pringles lid paint palette and paint away !
