Some things to look forward to next year, may be tempted by the Hind, Tonka's and Shackleton, possibly more.

It looks to be a potentially expensive year.
Again.

The rreissue of the big Tonka is a surprise .....nice scheme that :thumb:
Highlights for me woud be the Shackleton and the cars .
It looks like the co-operation with ICM is still active ,hence the 1/48 Do215 Nightfighter.
Plenty to look forward to in 2015 , looks like my bench is going to be a predomitably blue one :D

Looking forward to the Scharnhorst, POW, Halibag and shackleton- it is good that the latter is not a duplicate of Airfix's.

The highlight for me in the newsletter is actually the small precision saw set - nice pointy thin blades to get in to hard to get at places - and saw them off! Also nice to see the big B-1B Lancer in 1:48 again - the size of the box alone is an experience to be savoured - just a shame the jet pipes are rubbish and need upgrading at another quarter of the cost of the kit again at least. Still haven't sourced any for mine yet, funds being a little tight at the moment. :weep:

Just realised the Halifax is a new variant ....I was thinking it was the Matchbox kit .
Wonder if boxing this will correct the engine nacelle problems of the Merlin kit :hmm:

Yes, Halibag Mk III. I'm not holding my breath on this being the answer to prayer for a Hercules Halibag, I think we'll get exactly the same wing with an additional engine/nacelle sprue. Please prove me wrong Revell and I will buy lots of them (OK, a couple, at least).

I'd be amazed if they replaced the wing, always syspected they were trying for a universal wing with less success than Airfix achieved with their BI/III and BII Lancaster wing.

Can we possibly hope for clearer instructions as well.

Quite a few nice releases there. Will be nice to see what they do with the Leopard 1.

That's not good Revell and Airfix doing the same mark Shackleton, revel should have re-tooled the Mk 3

Airfix are doing the MR with possible new variants to be released later.
Revell are doing the AEW first.

Different kits but as always ....Airfix Shakletons dont make money for Revell and vice versa. :)
