Any of my attempts you deem worthy can go to Telford. Perhaps closer to the time we can list what we have available.

Well done mate.

John, I'll be setting the bar pretty low mate, so any of your builds will be more than welcome to raise the average! I'd just like to see our first table at Telford representative of the wide range of Revell subjects over the years - planes, ships (modern and classic sail ships), armour, cars, motorbikes (stock and choppers), dragsters, etc etc.
Cheers
Al.

Congratulations on getting the SIG up and running. I'm thinking of joining as I have a few Revell kits that I could bring to Telford.

Well think about joining no more Tim, I've added you to my list!! :thumb: It will be great to have some of your superb cars at the shows once we get going, as I doubt I'll be building any - it will be mostly planes and motorbikes from me.

Excellent - you're more than welcome mate. That makes 16 members so far - when we hit 20 I'll post a list so everyone knows who their fellow members are - save all that secret handshake or red carnation in the lapel business!

Cheers for the add Al.

Over the years I have built a number of models that all started out in a Revell box.

Some of the unbuilt ones in my stash are Revell boxings of other manufacturers kits e.g. Hasegawa 1/48 British Phantom, Hasegawa 1/48 Canadair Sabre, Zvezda 1/72 Sukhoi T-50 PAK-FA, MPM/Special Hobby 1/72 Gloster Meteor F.4 and Italeri 1/72 Jaguar GR.1.

Are these ok to display?

I don't see why not Chris. There are many more knowledgeable guys here that could probably tell us if there are any valid reasons why they shouldn't be.

Cheers

19 members so far ladies and gents, thank you :yipee: - now please do tell your friends, spread the word, use blackmail if necessary, and let's see if we can make 20 (or even 20+) within our first month of existence

Cheers

I would be happy to join if you will have me. Colin Marrow, IPMS 10969, Deputy SIG Leader of the Airfix Modelling SIG, but also partial to the blue Box, especially in 1/32 and 1/48.
