Finishing 1 stalled build would be good, let's see how it goes.

Decided to make a third attempt to finish a certain large 4 engined bomber off 4 years ago.

She's looking a little sorry for herself at the moment, and some repairs needed to the wing glove, them free moving wings are quite heavy.

As the Lightning and He 111 are now finished, I pulled this leviathan of the shelf.

Some remedial repairs, painting and clear applied, over the past few days managed to get most of the main decals on. Leaving them to dry until tonight and then I'll crack on with the stencels and try and get the second main U/C built up.

First coat of Hu125 on the Bay doors and ancillaries.

U/C built up in readiness.

Fingers crossed I should have this finished over the next few days, thinking about pulling the Hustlers out next.

Thanks Chis & Steve. A step backward with this one though, the crew compartment cover fit left a lot to be desired, so I have had to fill and sand back. Given I was going to have to break out the Hu125 I took the opportunity to knock up some aerials that had been missing/omitted from the kit.

Still looking to have this finished before the weekend.

Only the landing lights on the front U/C to sort then I'll be calling it a day on big bird. Missed the deadline by a couple of days.

Lovely looking Lancer John.
I must build one some day as I have the decals for the 1st pre-production one.

Mines missing quite a few lumps and bumps that should be on a later B1B, more suited to an earlier version Steve.
