Right, this GB lasts for four months and I have over 200 part started kits, some of them started over 30 years ago,
so lets's see how many I can drag across the finish line. Don't hold your breath though - one percent of the two hundred
may be a realistic target at the moment :wall:

Here is the Revell 1/72 SR-71 Blackbird I bought in the kit swap last weekend for £3.00 - a basic kit but still excellent VFM IMHO.

And the main reason for buying it - to inspire me to finish off the long stalled 1/48 Testor's big brother kit...

The reason it stalled is that the "No Step" demarcation line decals just would not stick and silvered horribly even though I
used Gloss Black on the plane. So they will have to be removed and masked and painted on instead - see why the build stalled yet?!

The 1/72 Revell kit doesn't even provide the lining decals so these will have to be masked and hand painted anyway.
I'll use a dark red/crimson colour rather than bright red.

So hopefully, this will be the first of many over the next few months :box: :fp:

Cheers
Al.

Got some spare red walkways from a 1:48 B-57 if you want them Al, you may be able to trim to fit

Very kind offer thanks John, but I think I'll just spray the red on then mask that with thin strips of tape and spray black over the top.
Wish me luck ;)
