![]() I purchased this the other week on an airport run to collect family members - just as well, they were delayed on the tarmac for an hour or so while the airport police dealt with a drunken passenger! If you're into Luft '46, then this magazine format publication will be right up your street. It's full of photos, sketches (many of them the back of fag packet variety beloved of designers/engineers the world over) and oodles of text. I admit it was the cover that attracted me, those big Northrops under attack by a Triebflugeljager, come on, that is just cool! Anybody modelling Luft '46 will find lots of inspiration and reference material inside the covers and as it happens I have a number of kits in the stash that qualify (including a flying wing like the one's on the cover, the B-17 lookalike scheme would look really neat)... There's a few Revell kits that fit this category, Go 229, Me P1099, Bv P194, Ar 555, Fw TL Flitzer, Mistel 5, He 162, Lippisch P13, Ba 349...that's quite a list, although only a few are current. Recommended. peebeep |
