Having reviewed this kit here ( Review link ) I have decide to plunge straight in and do a build review also. My only addition to what's in the box is the Eduard etch detail set for the cockpit. The main reason for using the set is for the seat belts but it will also add a bit more detail to the instrument panels and radios.

And so we begin. Here is the Eduard set along with the fuselage halves and wings.

Here is a close-up of the Eduard set showing the wonderful details.

First step will be adding most parts of the cockpit prior to painting before adding the Eduard parts.

I had originally painted the complete interior to match RLM 02 but the Eduard panels are a grey colour so I painted the cockpit a colour to match RLM 66. But the Eduard panels are a shade lighter. However, this will be less noticable once the cockpit is done and been weathered.

The Eduard placards and dials look right tasty.

On the shelf of doom at the moment. Although I tidied my work area yesterday and I may well be doing some work on it very soon.
