Revell 1/32 Tornado ECR (German pealing paintwork revealing tiger stripes scheme)

This one has been 90% done for about 5 years but I really should get it finished. I'll have to find it first - I know it is in the loft somewhere. Then I'll have to find the missing bits required to finish it off - that won't be a 5 minute job but I want to get it done hence posting it here.

Really looking good. Were those all decals? I bet that was a lot of work. Can't wait to see it all finished.

That is a cool Tonka, I live in Lancashire so these things were local produce along with many other important types over the years.

It looks like you've got the hardest part out of the way as far as the colour scheme is concerned. It should look pretty impressive when it's finished.

Wow !! That looks like the dogs droopies ....excellent.
Like Tim says the hardest part is getting the paint demarcation spot on ....it looks like you went a bit far down on the nose by the photo but you should be able to touch that up.....other than that...looks great !
Ive got the 2007/08 scheme to do .....the decals put me off a bit...just a couple of hundred to put on
Looking forward to seeing more.....

Yes mate - the yellow is painted on but the black striping is all decals - that being one of the things that put me off it in the end - I just lost patience with them. I still have quite a few to do as well. Some of the black was touched in with paint.

The yellow paint did go a bit lower down the body sides than was absolutely necessary but it will be overcoated with grey in the end.

Thanks for the encouragement guys - I'll dig it out of the loft this weekend and hope it hasn't got too damaged, wet, warped etc. up there. :slap:

cheers
Al.

That looks amazing!
I've got the same kit to do but the thought of all those decals keeps putting me off.

That thing looks amazing. I'm not sure how you couldn't want to finish it without being kicked in the pants. That is simply stunning.

Seeing how this is the only option I say this one. Kick it in gear and get her done. :crap:
