Pictures....?    :fp:

At last !! The culprit was the USB cable connecting camera to the computer.....its broke.
Used a SD card reader and Hey Presto !!

Thought Id give this a try.....

I sprayed it neat , no thinning , with my airbrush set at the normal setting , 10-15Psi .
It just would not settle.....it pooled all over as if it had been thinned too much.
I gave it another go after I had shook the bottle so much that my arm was hanging off but the same happened again ....so it was back to my favourite primer ....Vallejo Dark grey primer in the little bottles.....

Before you start laughing at the masking  ......I couldnt bare to mask all those 40 or so panes of glass so Ill be going back to my tried and tested "Steady Hand" approach and paint the frames with a hairy stick :P

Been reading thro this thread again Andy, that cockpit is superb. Glad to see the primer problems were easily sorted. Really looking forward to seeing it finished.

Do the decals do the rest if the kit justice?

More done today.....

I repainted the lower surfaces with Xtracrylix RLM 65 , this looked a better match .
Then when that had dried I masked off and painted the upper parts Xtracrylix RLM 79 Sandgelb or Desert Brown in plain English
This had a few patches of RLM 71 Dunkelgrun (Dark Green) added to the wings, engine cowls ,rudder and stabs.
Ill be painting the canopies freehand..... :grins: :muahaha:

COOL :thumb: I do like this scheme, when I did my ju87 it had the 3 colours RLM 70,71 and RLM79.The one thing Ihave found is that there is a lot of scope when interpreting the shades of some of the RLM paint.

It will be interesting to see what fights break out when Humbrol introduce their new colours. One thing that made me laugh is if you check out the RAF set, which includes Hu 30 as RAF Green! Thought that one had finally been put to bed, but apparently not. :wall:

Not that I'm spoiling for a :box: or anything.
