Just got back in took some pictures now have some decisions to make, I have the: Ferrari 360 modena ![]() Ferarri Enzo ![]() I think initially I'm going for the 360, firstly there is already an Enzo in the group build and secondly there are a lot fewer parts in the 360 so I have more of a chance to make it in the timescales allowed. If time permits I may have a go at the other one. |

the 360 goes together very nicely. things to watch out for are removing that bit of sprue in the windscreen apature without making a mess of the edge and fitting all the glass cos there aint that much room to add the glue even if you use pva have fun

Cracked open the fezzer last night and got some preliminary painting done. Popped to Halfords today and picked up some rattle cans. It's not going to be Red. |

More prep work on the Fezzer, hopefully be able to start assembly tomorrow.![]() Bought some rattle can primer and lacquer from Halfords together with a can of Vauxhall (GM) Lagoon Blue paint, a srt of pearlescent sage green, as I didn't want to do red. So it's a street car with a custom paint job. Never used auto paints on a model before, hoping everything will be ok, but to paraphrase Craig Revel Horwood (get it?) it could be a" complete deesarrstar darling." |

if you want tips on using rattle cans................ shake extremely well..............if you think you have shook it enough, shake it a little bit more! for five minutes before you spray stand the can in hot water this will up the pressure in the can dont get too close to the body shell when you spray make sure you use a spray box with extraction cos it puts so much more into the atmosphere than an airbrush does have fun

Sanded, washed and dried the body, as it was quite mild outside managed to get a couple of coats of primer on it. Putting body aside for a day as per rattle can instructions before attempting to apply the main colour.

in that case you want a dry and very still day...not a breath of a breeze......and no bugs flying about  .....once did that on a summers evening, the shell got half a dozen tiny flying wingy things stuck to it, ended up doing it all again  one reason i built my own spray booth to be honest, so i could spray what ever the time of year or weather |
