REVELL 1/1200 USS Nimitz (CVN-68) I believe this kit is a new mould released in December 2012. I picked it up in Modelzone for £ 8.99, early January 2013. ![]() The box (31 x 18cm) is the standard open ended type which contains the instructions, decals, 3 sprues in sealed plastic bag and a full hull: ![]() The instructions are in the usual booklet format on 8 pages: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Colour call outs are Revell only: A : Light Grey 76 B : Dust Grey 77 C : Anthracite Grey 9 D : White 5 E : Brass 92 F : Yellow 15 G : Carmin Red 36 H : Light Grey 371 ![]() The sprues: ![]() ![]() The deck (for size comparison alongside the Revell 1/1200 USS Hornet): ![]() The hull, which I'll be chopping down as I like to build mine waterline: ![]() The decals are all in register in spite of this poor image: ![]() Looks a good addition to the 1/1200 ships range, I'll have a little study of the sprues and instructions and post some comments in due course.
