Decals Matt varnish and De-icing paste markings applied. The de-icing strips need a little touch up but it is progressing.![]() Going to try and start the turrets tonight. |

Nice paint job, I hope the turrets will still slot in OK. IIRC they usually have to be put in as the fuselage goes together. |

So do I, these new kits seem to take a leaf out of Battleships in that the turrets just rest in place rather then being secured, perhaps they reckon models are models not toys. Strange because I still fly them round my bedroom!!!!

Bombay door actuators and engine exhausts painted, main undercarriage applied but left the wheels off until Bombay is finished, top skylights applied. The skylights were the first pieces on this kit that required adjusting to fit.![]() |

Coming to the end of this build now and have to say I have been really impressed with the way it's gone together. The biggist problem I came across was that 3 of the 4 single guns for the front and mid upper turrets were short shot, so I removed them and cut off the barrels on the spare twin set and attached these. Hopefully get it finished and photographed tonight. |
