I've not heard of this plane.
I like the camo, which is never easy on German planes, it looks just right.
And I'm always intrigued by the "washing-lines" hanging off of the front of some aircraft, such as this one.
You've done a very good job, thanks for sharing. :thumb:

Revell Handley Page Halifax B.Mk.II Srs.I 1:72 (04670)
W7710 LQ*R “Rhur Valley Express” Nos 405 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force,
Topcliffe, England, July 1942.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this kit, the fit is nearly perfect in every way, the main issues I had related to short shot machine gun barrels and misleading instructions with the options not clearly being marked in places.

There are accuracy problems primarily around the engines, spinners and prop blades, but also the tyres are slightly too small. I don’t have plans but the mid upper turret looks a tad on the large side to me as well.

Here is a picture of the original so you can see where they have succeeded and where they fall short.

The nose art is unusual as a new carriage was added to the express as mission markings. W7710 crashed at Liehuus, Denmark, on the night of 1/2 October 1942 while returning from a raid on Flensburg, Germany.

I'm a bit reluctant to include my effort alongside the rather splendid jobs above...but here we are anyway.
