Worth pinning.

One thing they need to do is add scales to the products.

Yes, I've just been trawling through the site and scales would be a great help. ;)

Maybe the problem with delivering paints has put them off?

Ah ...forgot about that ridiculous new regulation from Royal Fail (Royal Mail)
Yes...you can post bottles...GLASS bottles of Whiskey or perfume but you can not post cellaphane wrapped or sealed tinlets or plastic tubs of water based Acrylic paints :fp:
You just couldnt make it up !!

As I understand it, you can post four containers of acrylic, each up to 150ml. But if you were to attempt to post five tinlets of acrylic (typically these are 15ml capacity), then your parcel could be intercepted and destroyed. So it's OK to post 600ml in four containers, but not 75ml in five containers. If anybody can explain the logic of that I'm all ears. Apparently it is no longer possible to send enamels via RM? How is enamel a greater risk than say 750ml of Scotch in a glass bottle, which is permissible?

If anybody could introduce me to the person who makes up these rules, I'll happily arrange for them to be taken outside and flogged to within an inch of their life.

It was probably the same person who said bananas were too bent or Cornish pastys have to come from Cornwall to be called Cornish pasties.

Good to see that Revell have introduced this facility but scales would help.

As an aside "traditional Cornish pasty" it was my understanding that traditional Cornish pasties had two fillings, a savoury on one side and dessert on the other, also the crust ran down the outer of the pastry so it could be discarded as it would be contaminated through being handled down a Tin mine. Not quite what Greggs sell ( other purveyors of processed slop in pastry are available).
