I recently completed these for the 4 day Turkey Shoot Group Build over on Flory Models. Both were brush painted using Revell Aquacolors and Humbrol Clear and Humbrol Decalfix was used to help the decals settle down. The MiG was given a coat of Flory Dirt wash to dull it down a little. Cracking little kits and I thoroughly enjoyed making them. Airfix 1:72 North American F-86F Sabre (A03082/A82011): “Little Rita” Lt Dick Greiger; 16th Fighter Intercept Squadron; 51st Fighter Wing; K-13 (Sowun AFB); South Korea 1952/1953. ![]() ![]() ![]() Airfix 1:72 MiG 15 (A02037/A82011) Peoples Liberation Air Force (PLAF), North Korea; 1952. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Very nicely done (as usual) John. ![]() I wonder if the MiG-15 kit will get many more outings? It's a hoot to build - well I enjoyed it anyway - but as an accurate rendition it falls down on several counts, whereas the F-86 is a rather good. peebeep |

Your right Paul, the MiG is a little portly shall we say but both on them really do fit together very nicely. If I make another MiG, you never know I might not glue the instrument panel in the wrong way round (yep the instruments face towards the intake ) and not in a North Korean scheme

Very nice. The scheme and markings on the MiG are P.R. China |

The scheme is correct, but there are not a dogfight between these planes. I gave him an original scheme: See it on flickr in my pictures, modelldoc |
