Welcome to the second GB of 2017 the subject being items produced by and in the USA rules and eligability are as follows:

All models have to be made or boxed by Revell.

All models have to be unstarted. A picture of the unstarted kit must be included in the build thread prior to starting the build. the picture should also show it's Revell heritage if it is not readily evident on the box.

Whilst aftermarket parts and decals are permitted, the finished article must be at least 51% the original kit.

The model must be of something that actually exist, this is not a what if GB.

A new build thread should be created for each subject you wish to tackle, please display your completed builds in the Gallery thread that is pinned in this section.

Any vehicle of any genre can be built, the limiting criteria is that it must have been PRODUCED in the U.S.A.. Items operated outside the USA but produced by them are permitted. (eg the M3 Grant, the N.A. P-51 etc) However items produced outside the USA but operated by them are not (eg Spitfire, Beaufighter, Mosquito).

If a vehicle was produced by both the USA and under liscence by another country (eg F-104G Starfighter) than only those produced by the USA would be permitted and the builder would need to supply evidence of the eligibility of the subject matter.

The G.B will run from 00:00 hours on 1st May 2017 until 24:00 31st August 2017. Times are UK BST.

The scope of the GB is deliberately broad in order to be more inclusive, we hope you can join in, build something that interests you and enjoy the GB.

Please create your own build thread(s) by starting a suitably titled topic within this GB section.

Nice choice, always found the title a bit strange, it wouldn't be much of a Strike Eagle without bombs.

Lots of big models going to be built in this GB . . . :thumb:

However, I'm going the 'Small is Beautiful' route with this . . .

Double the good old USA fun I think.....

As I recall the kit decals are not the best but I have some aftermarket for both the B747 and Shuttle....

Back in the 80's I was very tempted by the Tamiya one, it will be interesting to see what the Revell version is like-other than big.
