If making this model, fit the I/P cover before closing up the fuselage and the arrester hook goes into the fuselage then is glued in place. Instructions just a bit ambiguous.

John Posts: 4,772 Group: Revell Historian Member #6 Joined: July 24, 2011 Country United Kingdom	Yep, she back on, so an update, firstly rectifying (partly) my mistakes from Mis-reading the instructions, The arrestor hook mechanism I tried to fit in the gap in the fuselage, it wouldn't fit so attacked it with a scalpel then realized it fitted into the fuselage then down, I rectified with carefull glueing filling and sanding. Second mistake (you can tell I was having a bad night) the I/P shroud was stopping the front glazing from fitting. No option but some minor surgery on the cover as it was fixed in there good and strong. Fitted the engine intakes and wings this morning, in the absence of any rattle cans I even got the airbrush out in years to put white in the bays. Then spent over an hour cleaning it and remembering why I don't use it.

Got some on the bird and some Revell 75 on for the grey followed by some clear. Going to try and get the anti gear panel on today and start getting some decals on tonight.
