Since I decided to concentrate on 1/32 aircraft I have wanted to get my hands on this kit of such an iconic aircraft.

As you can see this kit is almost 30 years old!!!

So what do you get in the box?

Firstly here are the instructions which are in a format reminicant of Monogram.

You even get a broomstick. :woo:

Here are the decals and as you will notice they have no bar which is correct at the time of setting its speed record.

Reminds me of the spaceships from the very old b&w Buck Rodgers seriel.

Nice detail on the hub and tyre.

CONCLUSION.

As you can see construction is fairly simple and the aircraft is a fair size for the scale. Detail in the cockpit is fairly accurate right down to the broomhandle that Yeager had to use to lock the door. I believe he cracked some ribs falling off a horse.

Highly recommended.

Thanks to my wallet for the kit.

Very nice.

I remember the broomstick, improvised handle as he had injured his ribs falling off a horse.
