Howdy Folks, a quick question. I've noticed a lot of recent Revell releases have included seat harnesses as decals. Whilst in smaller scales these may seem adequate, I find them rather two dimensional on larger scale kits. So the question is, has anyone applied them to another medium (I'm thinking kitchen foil at the moment) two produce a more three dimensional effect? Just curious before I try it. John |

Yeah. I've used the decals before. Usually, if there are no decals, I just paint up some Tamiya tape and use that. However, I mostly work in 1/72, which is a lot less critical. I think attaching them to foil is a good idea. Maybe use some white glue to do it. As long as the foil isn't too thick and the belts lay flat. That is one problem I have with photoetch belts; they don't lay realistically. Johnnyb |

Another option is to carefully cut out the seat belt from the decal sheet and attach it using pva. |
