Eric: If the new REVELL organization feels that they can make a profit on the "legacy" kits then they may issue them from time to time...the molds may be leased to other mfgr's as well. .

Eric, at the moment the most likely answer is nobody really knows. Revell GmbH still have their 2018 programme to address, let alone disseminate the massive tool catalogue they now possess. Their first priority is to clear the former Revell US premises, for which they have about 21 days left to get it sorted. Revell GmbH have a history of re-releasing legacy kits, you get enough moaning and groaning on different forums and Facebook when they do, so I've no doubt they will continue to do so. But I think they will have a long, hard look at the tooling to see which kits actually have any mileage left in them.

Thanks to all for clarification! If I had to venture a guess, I'd have to say that, in my 40 years of building, about 90% of my builds have been Revell/Monogram. For me, they offered the best combination of quality, simplicity and accuracy. If Revell and Monogram ever cease to exist, my modeling hobby will seriously grind down to a near halt.
