Very pretty (can any Phantom be pretty?) Mark. Which paint did you use for the blue? Iím currently trying to replicate XT899 of 19 Squadron in her final service colours.

Not necessarily pretty but very striking in that blue scheme. I have some 1/72 decals for XT899, they might be just the ticket for the Airfix Phantom.

I don't know which paint Mark used but the late Ted Taylor was able to inspect these aircraft and stated that this and the 19 Squadron bird were painted in BS381C: 108 Aircraft Blue. The roundels were BS381C: 110 Roundel Blue.
