1/72 Spitfire Vb model set:

Spitfire kit + glue + paints + brush, perfect for those days on holiday when your trapped in a hotel room/chalet/caravan etc by persistent rain. I know it's been hot and sunny recently, but we're talking about the UK. With regard to the kit, we haven't previously reviewed the Mk Vb, but it is based on the Mk II, which is reviewed here. The choice of Zumbach's RF+D is a little predictable, but there's acres of reference material on this particular aircraft. For Mk Vb variations check out this DK Decals set. I have a couple of DK sets, they are superb and this particular Spitfire set has enough options to turn out a couple of squadrons if you were so inclined.

Next up the 1/24 Ford GT Easy Click:

We have both in-box and full build reviews for this one and whatever you think about snaptite style kits (that's to say if you have any prejudice), give this one a whirl. It will suit beginners, old hands, somebody looking for a quick build to add to a collection, as a stress or AMS buster, or just something to while away an afternoon or evening with some satisfactory modelling time. It's fab. Just make sure you do have a drop of glue on hand to fix the body shell to the floor pan, plus some elastic bands to hold it all together whilst the glue sets.
