I have adjusted these forums some. Added a few new Forums and Sub-Forums: Entertainment
Also added an SWGEmu section under Star Wars Galaxies. Please try to use the Squared Circle for what it is for. Just because it is un-moderated, doesn't mean it is for posting everything. It is basically a place to go to let off some steam, complain, etc. |

I have added a new section in the Vanguard forum for Guides. I hope this helps some of you find what you need. Also, feel free to contribute a good guide that you find or create. I prefer to copy/paste most good guides that I find so I do not have to search for it or go all over the web to different sites. If you can make your own guide or copy/paste another good guide, then that is what I prefer. If it is just not viable to do so, then please post a link in the correct thread at the top of the Guide forum. |

I know some of you are wanting to help a great deal in the new Guide section. But please make sure to look at what guides are already there. If what you are posting can just be added to another guide, then please do not make a new thread. I already took a few items from a couple of guides to add to already existing guides and deleted the other thread. I can see right now that I am going to be VERY busy fixing all of these guides to where they are easier to read and/or find information in them lol. It will be a full time job lol. |

Also because of the recent influx of posts in the Guides category, I was forced to rearrange some things and decided to move other things. The Star Wars Galaxies category and all of its sub-categories (such as General, Space/Pilot and Information) have been moved to the Holocron. I have renamed Rogue Games to just Desert Rogues. This category will now only be for Desert Rogue specific things. The Vanguard category was moved from (the now named) Desert Rogues category and is now its own category. The Guides category under Vanguard has been split up and now has numerous sub-categories. Miscellaneous guides will remain in the Guides category itself and can be seen below the list of sub-categories. |

Ok, the forums underwent a few changes recently as you can see. I wanted to simplify the forums a bit when it came to graphics. Previously, there were more used graphics for things most of you probably didn't notice. So in changing that, I also changed the color scheme a bit. I am always on the lookout for more Javascript, CSS, HTML, or DHTML that will make things just a tad better. When I implemented this "skin", there arose a problem. Normally when I am creating things like this, I try to test it out in other browsers so there is minimal defects overall. I neglected to do that this time. There arose a problem in the Firefox browser where you could not scroll at all. After some trial and error, I found the scroll problem with Firefox. The HTML code below is part of the code that keeps the forums at a set width. See the "class" tag. That corresponded with the CSS code below as well...
Above in the CSS code, see the "position" part of the code. Just by having that in there set to "fixed", stopped Firefox from being able to scroll on the forums. It's amazing how something so simple can do that in one browser and not in another. |

Some members have been having issues lately with the forums and other things. All old web addresses from the past will probably stop working soon because I decided not to pay for the old web domain names anymore. The forum address is still the same however. On top of waiting for the new forum conversion that will be taking place in the near future, other things might change. All Desert Rogue internet things are in limbo during this time. Once the new forum conversion takes place, this will be the only site we have. The new forum format will allow me to have everything here instead of spread out over different websites. I am also using alot of the old web address/sites for testing purposes. So those old sites might look and/or be all messed up to you. |

I've added a new forum under Game Chat. The new forum is for Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO that is still in development. Once that game gets closer to release, then its forum will be moved to a more permanent spot on our overall forums. This is a game the guild as a whole will be playing. You can count on that without any doubts. |

Ok. I've put together a couple of different forum skins that you guys can choose from. Just use the Theme Chooser at the bottom of the forums. I'll try to work on the ones I have now a little bit to smooth/finish them up at some point. I might make 1 or 2 more if I feel like it. Feedback on any problems with them should be given here in this forum. |

So while I've been bored recently, I created a new forum theme. This one is based off of Star Wars Galaxies. It is a gray green tone, or tannish in color. Hope you enjoy ![]() Remember you can choose themes at the bottom of the forum. Edited by g0b0ts, Feb 25 2009, 03:10 PM.

Ok guys... I've created a new theme that, in my opinion, is clean (not cluttered). Before you start bashing me, I know it has neither green or orange in it. Crispin has been wanting different colors forever haha (and it just so happens this style of blue & gray is appealing to me). No, this does not mean our guild colors are changing at this time. But I did want to give this color scheme a shot. This theme has a great look to it in my opinion. I'm sure there will be somebody, maybe all of you, who disagree about everything here with this theme. As you can see from the theme name (StarFi V9), it is the 9th version of it. It took me many and various tries and things to get things right. There may be 1 or 2 additions/fixes on it at some point. As far as I can tell, it works good in Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla 3.0.8, and Google Chrome 1.0.154.53. I am under the impression Chrome is based off of Safari, so I am just guessing that this theme works good in Safari as well. Over the years, I've added themes to our forums and changed stuff on each different version. Well, it is time I clean up all older versions. Everything needs to be updated, fixed, etc. So until further notice, this new theme will be the only one available. Each older theme will most likely return as soon as I am done with them. So, you can always check back in this thread to find out if one has been re-enabled. To discuss anything specific to the theme StarFi V9, please post in the thread linked HERE. |

Well I said that I was going to also give an option for a lighter theme on our forums. You can now choose it below. Guild Lite will most likely be the only light theme our forum unless or until we change guild colors or something of that nature. Mostly because I think the dark themes look better. Some members now and then might want a light alternative though. |

Not long ago I removed all old themes from our forums. A theme is what the forum looks like. I have now updated/fixed or "redone" the Desert Rogue Original theme we once had. It is now back available and titled Guild Original Redux. For those that still do not know, you can change your forum theme at the bottom of each page where it says "Choose a theme". |
