Here you’ll find common terms used both in character and out of character. The creators of this RPG have been working together for roughly six years, probably seven by the time everything is said and done. So there are a lot of terms that have cropped over the years that aren’t the most common to most role-players. So here you’ll find both those terms and terms used in character that are essential for you to know. If you have any questions, or think anything should be added please shoot a PM to an Admin or Super Moderator.

Densetsu/Novella Style Role-PlayYou have complete control over all aspects of the role-play during your post. You’re free to progress the story forward on both ends of the spectrum in one post. However, you cannot gravely injure, or kill, any player characters in your post. The following post must continue from where the previous player left off. Going back and rewriting one the previous player said and changing the details how things happened is not permitted.

God-Modding In essence, is when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. An example would be when the character simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other typists try.

Major EventsA Major event is one that would affect an entire city or organization. They can be run by players or by staff members.

Meta-HumanUnlike mutants Meta-Humans are not born with their powers, they tend to be made either through personal tampering or freak experiments. An example of a meta-human would be Spiderman or Static Shock.

MutantMutants are born with the X-Gene, there powers may manifest later in life, but they’re born with their gifts.

Power PlayingThis occurs when you control someone else's character, as well as your own, without the other person's permission.

Site Arc- A Site Arc, also known as a SARC, is a site wide event that is run by the staff. It will affect the entirety of the RPG in one way or another. These can be run by staff members as well as members (With staffer approval).

StafferA member of the staff team.

Traditional Style Role-PlayYou have no control over any other character but your own. You will probably share custody of an NPC. Your posts will only dictate yours and a potential NPC’s actions and never anyone else’s. You’re only telling your characters side of the story from their perspective.

TypistJust another term for Role-player or Rp’er.
