On paper, we're the much better side. Shame games aren't player on paper.
Wet with a chance of snow on Friday. Muddly horrible pitch.
Drunk, posh, up their own a.... home crowd.

A game that is very winnable... I think we'll struggle...

Looks a good team from us. A couple of questions on defense but if we keep the ball in hand we are an attacking threat.

I think we're lucky Banahan isn't playing. Seeing what an inexperienced Scarlets team did to our midfield last week he would have had a filed day against the same line up.

tbh Kahn and Louw as the only players that i'm worried about.

Tapuai is a danger with the centres that we have but i reckon we can shut him down.

In Smyler we trust! hopefully he can kick his points and we grind out a solid win, do that and the cat is well and truly amongst the pigeons.

however with arry and the three quarters we do look suddenly dangerous and the team is looking alot better on paper, looking forward to see how we play again, not longer dreading it.

Louw was outstanding we started with wrong team, Clark over dickinson imo. Bath probably deserved the win but Barnes made it difficult to take, he reffed well but pen try was harsh and when the shoe was on the other foot not a sniff even though we scored from resulting pen.

Jim and Co need to learn that we should start our best 15 even if it means players who are leaving at the end of the season.

Centres defence was awful tonight. If you play Harry then you have to play Pisi or Burrell to cover him defensively.

Robbed. I'm fed up with the refs. One sign off high tackle and the tmo told to look at it. Why can't they do this when the pass looks forward?

Mallinder jnr made one tackle on roki in the second half. Yes he's a great prospect but we cant keep leaking points in the midfield.

Ace has to go. So many times he was caught out of position.

We didn't select our best back rower and look what happened, loud had a field day. Look at what we are going to miss next year! Saracens have Englands missing link. Next 6 nations he will be in the squad ahead of wood and T.

Plus side saints nation out sang the rec. if we can get 5 points next 3weeks we can make the top 4.

Barnes strikes again.

We did enough and chucked it away, some misfortune no doubt but gutting.

Dicko by far our best scrum half, looked like him old self. Groom is just jot good enough.

Centres are weak defensively for sure, Austin going on about shoulder reconstruction, I didn't know that, lets give him time but nafi is just a no.

Clark was unfortunate to give away the pen, u see Kahn tussling with him then lets him go so he falls into the ruck. Kahn was world class.

Mucking around with the ball after the missed pen was awful!!!!

Enj0yed the game but to be churlish we were poor in the backs.Nafi best attacking threat, cant judge his defence because M allinder has gone from bad tackler to none tackler, cant have non tackling inside centre.
Dickenson falls over before contact he leans into it should learn from loui .Dickson shows who the best scrum half is, their pack is not great but the props all carry past or through people do we.
Pattison what does he do answers please
By the way we lack speed of thought and foot all over the pitch. No leaders.

Game was there for the taking, to concede the try and 2 penalties in last 5 minutes is just poor game management.

Clark is a massive loss, Harry needs to go back to the Wandies to learn how to tackle. My guess is he wouldnt be playing if Luther, JJ or George were fit, shoulder injury still a big issue.

Myler is a reliable kicker, but offers nothing in attack, attracts no one, so the defender just shuffles sideways.

After watching the Bath game then the six nations games it was evident in the international games the sides wheeling the scrums were penalised whilst on Friday the opposite was the case, I just wondered why certain referees have different interpretations of the scrummaging laws.

imo its cause theres a difference between wheeling and your tight head getting utterly destroyed. Hill is like an open door, he holds his end up there and we win the game simple.

noticeable on a few occasions this season, there and falcons at home it seems we have lost close games due to players who simply aren't up to premiership level.

lots of criticism for dicko for hitting touch on the full, but there we so many errors after that. for me he was the reason we were in lead in the first place, he changed the game. would like to see him and api start the next game.

Paul Hill can't be that bad or at least Eddie Jones doesn't think so as he has been included in the England training squad

Rushden, Eddie has admitted he has brought players in either too soon or who weren't good enough. The fact Hill has not been back would indicate to me he's one of those.

Eddie does not pick players in a vacuum.. just because Brookes better fits our squad at this moment does not mean the same for England. Hill has a lot of tallent.

Hill is a very good rugby player, he just cant scrummage to save himself though, like I said if we dont get destroyed in that scrum we dont lose that game. he hasnt got the physical ability to play tighthead at this level yet. Can't wait to see Jamal and brookes compete next season.

Hill getting into the England squad is the biggest joke ive ever seen. hes not good enough simple as. Rumour is hes going to sale, which makes sense with us signing Jamal and Mooj going to wales. not bothered at all, think we've done well there.

also on another note, do people think the pass was forward for their try?

Whatever happens with Hill I agree Jamal is currently a better fit for us. We need a bigger front row.

Mac I think it was a good foot forward, I also think the pen try was too soon and that we should have been awarded one but even with that we only have ourselves to blame for that loss everyone loves to moan about Barnes but we still did enough to win in spite of his input.

OK, just watched the limited highlight I could find and it's mostly all been said before.
Defence was not good enough, two tries gifted to them.
No idea how it was a Pen try so quickly. You'd expect at least one reset. They weren't even close to the line.
Not sure what they were doing at the end, the ball should have been smacked down the other end...

Ho hum...
