’Twas the Eve of All Hallows 'Twas the Eve of All Hallows, and all through the streets, Every ghost, ghoul, and goblin were begging for treats! Some people were hung, dangling in the air, In hopes that the Reaper soon would be there. Monsters sprang from the closets and from under the beds, While visions of terror filled their victims’ heads. There was blood on the blades where they caused a decap’. The corpse was now down for an eternal nap. When out from the ground, there arose such a clatter. It was the undead (causing people to scatter). It wasn’t raining; yet, I saw a flash, That came from a blade when it hit with a slash. He was dressed like the “Reaper”. He was slicing someone. He used his two sickles to carve up his fun. Ghostly apparitions started to appear. I knew that his evil was something to fear. With his cold gaze at me like no living thing could, I knew in a moment fleeing would be good. The cops then showed up; but, just as they came, The “Reaper Man” attacked and put them to shame. He hacked and he slashed -- the blood, how it splattered! He sliced and he diced ‘til their pieces were scattered. He would chop off their heads and their bodies would fall. With gruesome deaths no one would like to recall. As much as I really wanted to flee, I feared he would set his sights...targeting me. So into a spot where he wouldn’t know, I watched the slay full of gore like a horror show. And from my mistake, he heard a faint sound, That instant he noticed that I was around. As I drew in my head, I was hoping he’d leave. Unfortunately, he did see me weave. I almost passed out. I just froze in my tracks. But, I knew if I stayed I’d be thrashed by his attacks. I ran half a mile as he had sprung through the air. It looked like my end as far as I was aware. His eyes -- how they pierced. I was next he would bury. His sickles and robes made him look really scary! Into a warehouse is where I did go. And hid behind boxes (just before he would show). I felt so lucky he’d not seen my path. And the smoke it grew darker to show off his wrath. He climbed up the racks so that he could see more. This, I took as my chance to run for the door. He soon spotted me, and he jumped from the shelf. I screamed when I saw him, and then wet myself! Yet, I knew I survived; it was Day of the Dead. The sunlight told me I had nothing to dread. He took one last lunge; but it just didn’t work, ’Cause he started to fry, and he shook with a jerk. What happened to his power...well, nobody knows. The undead had returned back from where they rose. The ghostly apparitions took off like a missile. And away they all flew, like the wind, with a whistle. And I heard him exclaim, as he died in the light, "Happy Halloween to all, and to all a good fright!" |

Dr. Suess Massacre Sam he is. He is sam. He wants me to try, Green eggs and ham. I do not like him. I want him dead. I want to pump him, Full of lead. And that old cat, He is a fool. He thinks his hat, Will make him cool. I'd like to see him, Up against, The terminator, And an electric fence. One, Two, Red, Blue; Those stupid fish. I'll hunt them down, If I wish. And Horton, That badly drawn elephent; I'll slice him up, One-hundred percent. Yurtle the Turtle, And the rest of those books. I should poke their eyes out, With fishing hooks. Now, my poem is done. Yes, that is all. Just wait for the sequel, Coming this fall! (PS: There's not really a sequel) |
