WELCOME TO THE NEXT PHASE OF THE GAME! Some things to ponder from where we are now . . . 1) How do you plan to adapt in this new tribe of ten? 2) What are your thoughts about uniting your tribe against the opposing 10 from the other half.....or could it benefit you to consider working with them? 3) Do you think it's important to try to learn what you can about the other game, or are you only focused on your side of the game? |

DangerZone: 07132011 1) How do you plan to adapt in this new tribe of ten? 2) What are your thoughts about uniting your tribe against the opposing 10 from the other half.....or could it benefit you to consider working with them? 3) Do you think it's important to try to learn what you can about the other game, or are you only focused on your side of the game? 1) This game is ALWAYS about adapting to any scenario, so this is no different really. It's interesting because even though EVERYTHING changed, in a sense NOTHING changed. If we don't beat the girls at the IC, then it's going to be a 5-5 former Baikal/Katorga split at TC. I don't see anyone jumping and if someone does, they are an idiot. Mark it down Brobst: If someone switches their vote, they will be the very next person voted out. Hands down. That person will lose all allegiance from their own former tribe members, plus the other former tribe members won't need him anymore. As far as any other adaption, I'm open to anything. Swaps, merges, double votes, triple votes, voting for the President, smackdown your vote....I'm ready. I'm going to be as likeable as I can to EVERYONE just in case. I didn't love my 5-way alliance structure at Katorga, so I'm open to anything. The only person I'm truly loyal too at this point is Hunter. 2) I think it would be a great idea for the men to unite against the women. I think we will probably merge/swap sooner than later because otherwise we will destroy them in challenges. You can mark that down too. I can say that because I'm "dangerous". Girls are great at dropping babies, bleeding once a month and cooking my breakfast, but they aren't going to fare so well in these challenges. All that said, I'll preach and preach that the men should stay united, but I may very well be the first person to flip on them and side with some women. Let's hear it for Adaptability! 3) I saw what went down on the other side of the mountain with the ladies. Good to see they didn't "merge" with even numbers. Now, it will be interesting to see who gets voted out from their tribe if/when they go to TC. I think it could be an advantage for us because we know who will be on the outs over there. 4) I feel like such a douche for my accidental PM. I'm about to post a thread about it, so all my previous comments could be moot when I get voted out next. (WAY before my time, I might add) |

Would it be a mistake for anyone to take fate in their own hands? No one knows how a deadlocked vote would be broken. Is everyone just waiting to see which original "side" wins out? |

I do think it would be a mistake unless ur a genius and you are able to really make people believe you aren't a traitor after the vote. Otherwise, you're going to be next unless you get saved by a swap or something. You have to make big moves in this game, but I don't think this is one of them. NOW, if we vote and its deadlocked and we have to vote again? THAT could be a different story.... |

Deadlocked is when you've had a tie vote and have re-voted and it's still tied. I would then reveal how the deadlock would be broken. |

Oh yeah, deadlocked lol. Anyway, I'm assuming previous votes aren't going to count against us since no one has any. Actually, I hope that is safe to assume. Still though, as much as it would suck to go home on a weird deadlock challenge/rock/cointoss/tictactoe/alienprobe, I'm just not sure it would be a great idea to be the guy to flip. I have thought that I could flip and just lie and say it was someone else though. THAT could be interesting. |

W E L L . . . 1) After how that vote went down, are there two "sides" within your tribe, or are we a unified unit with a goal in mind? 2) How do you think things are progressing with the other half of the game? 3) Which player or players on the other game side are you most looking forward to chatting with whenever you get an opportunity? |

1) After how that vote went down, are there two "sides" within your tribe, or are we a unified unit with a goal in mind? Unfortunately, there is no unified unit (redundant lol) within our tribe. If the former Katorga were smart, they would want to at least portray unification in order to simplify things. However, people are idiots. Ace, Jamie, and even Hunter have indicated that they want to work with Shane and Frank. So stupid. Yeah, tell the guy who just got votes from their "tribe" that you want to work with a couple of them. Dumb. I'd like nothing more than to take out Shane at the next vote. He's about as transparent as a sliding glass door after the Griffin family's maid cleans it. (no, no, messeiur Peter no home). The crappy part is that Shane is smarter than Ace, Jamie, and Hunter. He is playing them all, but they are buying it to an extent. I have to trust Hunter because he does still trust me. But, I really wish I could talk him into voting out Coach next. Everyone is so paranoid about a swap, or at least they pretend to be. I say get rid of Shane, and then we see where the chips fall. Challenge performance means jack-shit. If I can muster up enough support, Shane goes home next. Otherwise, it will have to be Mike. We'll see. 2) How do you think things are progressing with the other half of the game? I don't care. Yeah, I know you will follow up with this, but meh. It's no concern for me right now. All I know is that I want us to beat them at the next challenge. Let everyone else worry. I'm focusing on our internal dynamics. 3) Which player or players on the other game side are you most looking forward to chatting with whenever you get an opportunity? It depends on my perceptions at the time. Trish is the stand out so far. She's like the Jamie or Shane of the women. Always online, always saying dumb shit. It's like 15 year olds on meth got a new toy. She could be a huge target at some point, but it depends on where things end up with the numbers. She could also be in control OR be someone to try and take to the end of this game. We'll see. Personally, I want her gone because of my stupid accidental PM. I want to erase that thought from people's minds as soon as possible. With her around, it never goes away. As far as the rest of the women, they are all just numbers. Numbers with feelings, thoughts, and the ability to type. Same with all the guys for that matter. Except me of course. |

DangerZone 07162011: These people are complete idiots. ALL of them. I need to figure out a way to get rid of Shane and make sure its a consensus. Gonna think about it all day long. -Polar bear meat doused in absynthe tastes like eating Oscar the Grouch. |

Allright, let's do this; Ace: he's trying to sneakily align with every group of of two in this game. I wish he was gone, but there are bigger fish to fry right now because having me around still benefits him more than others. Shane: transparent, phony power player. He doesn't even realize that personally I think he is more shady for NOT voting for me. Everytime I get a message from him I laugh at how dumb he must think everyone is. James: apparently he isn't too bright according to some. Good. Frank: nice guy who I think is playing the same way I am. He does a good job appearing sincere. Too bad i can recognize my own gameplay when I see it. Coach: Who? Lol. I think he would probably jump to any side he needed to. But, I think I finally have him where I want him: more on my side than Ace's. Hunter- still is my best option of someone to trust. I have to have faith in him that he will help protect me if the need arises. Jamie- He's saying all the things that I want him to, but he's always done that. He's by far the most active player in this game and it will come back to haunt him at SOME point. Mike- He will probably go home next. He's just too unpredictable. Everything he is saying could be the truth, but since Ace is pre-voting for him, (or so he claims) I'm pretty much stuck voting for him. So there ya go. I HATE that Ace pre-voted tonight because it forces us to vote his way. If he did that on purpose, bravo. I'm not sure if he's THAT smart. All of a sudden, it seems like all the former Baikal want Shane gone. If they do, great. But, there is a good chance that Baikal is uniting because they know that Ace pre-voted. That way, they try to get us to vote for Shane. Then, they all vote for one of us and it's a tie. Or worse, someone from old Katorga doesn't vote for Shane and one of us goes home. If Ace told Shane he pre-voted, he's a fucking idiot. |

OKIE DOKIE . . . 1) So what are the latest developments on your side of the game? 2) What do you think is going to be your biggest obstacle here? 3) Do you consider yourself "locked in" to one style of playing, or are you just taking it as it comes and adjusting your strategy whenever needed? |

1) So what are the latest developments on your side of the game? Well, Mike's gone lol I'm still tight with Hunter. I'm thinking I'm actually tighter with Coach and Jamie than I ever was. Coach may trust me more now than he trusts Ace and I've been wanting that for a while. I really have lost faith in Ace, but I think he still needs me more than some of the others do, so I'm not in a rush to get rid of him. I AM in a rush to get rid of Shane. As far as I'm concerned he can take his Blackberry, his cigs, and his eyebrows and get off the mountain. If we don't swap or something by the time we vote again, I will do everything in my power to ensure Shane goes home next. As far as James and Frank: They are my #1 priorites right now. I NEED to get in tighter with them. Side note: That was a cool challenge. I don't know if you've done it before, but you should totally use it again. The "in the cards" challenge? Not so much. It was just boring. 2) What do you think is going to be your biggest obstacle here? Well, the BIGGEST obstacle is going to be the twists that keep popping up. If you can't predict the order in which things will play out, you can't 100% plan ahead. Also, ingratiating with the girls could be an issue. But, if they end up having numbers, SOMEONE will want to jump from them. It's just a matter of not being one of their first targets. And when I say that, I'm including the possibility of teaming up with some of them MUCH sooner than expected. I know some of the people spend their every waking moment boring each other with BS chit-chat on The Mountain. I just don't have the time to do that. I'm counting on those people continuing to expand the targets on their backs as they chat it up. I'm more than happy to continue building trust with new people and cementing my relationships with others. They can have all the JD they want. 3) Do you consider yourself "locked in" to one style of playing, or are you just taking it as it comes and adjusting your strategy whenever needed? 100% adjusting when I need to. I can't change who I am or how I think, but I can change how I act. |

HOW HAS THE SWAP WORKED OUT FOR YOU SO FAR? And of the 4 new players on your tribe, who have you chatted with so far and how do your impressions of them from public posts coincide or differ now that you can chat with them one on one? |
