2) As far as WHO should feel vulnerable tonight, I'd say the MOST in danger are Trish, Scout, Coach, Deena, and Crystal.

After that, probably Frank, myself, Hunter, and Gretchen.

And the rest aren't in really much danger at all. They are all swing votes tonight. I wish I was there tonight too, but sometimes you have to kinda hang ur balls out there. I AM dangerous after all ;)

3) Tonight is going to come down to a few different factors:

a) long-standing loyalty between former Katorga members. Can we trust Ace/Jamie to vote how we want them to.

b ) long-standing animosity between Crystal/Deena and the former power tribe girls.

c) individual plans for those who are truly looking ahead.

d) fear of elimination

4) My plan to survive this phase is to continue to portray myself as indispensable. Right now, there are a lot of people that are relying on me as one of their "numbers". However, some of them don't even realize that I'm making most of their decisions for them. The perfect example is Teresa. She had actually talked Hunter and Frank into voting out Deena first, but I turned that around because I KNEW that she had to go first. THAT little nuggest will come up again if I'm fighting for jury votes at the end, you betcha ;)

But, the key component of my survival here will be to continue making people's decisions for them by shuffling their loyalties in a way that they will think whatever I'm telling them is really their best move. IF I can do THAT, and still remain a Beta-male archetype (Jamie and Ace are definitely the Alphas), then I will make it very far in this game. Jamie and Ace will take a lot of heat tonight if a Yo-no-sei girl goes home.

Side note: Hunter is playing a very similar game to me right now, which is tough to deal with. He's also my most loyal ally and I benefit from having him around(he's bright and we work well together). I may not be able to get rid of him without being viewed as a douche by everyone. It's gonna be interesting.

Zone Out.

IT'S BEEN AN INTERESTING MERGE THUS FAR, AND YOU'RE THROUGH THE EARLY STAGES....

Spill whatever is on your mind. But first...

Pick the statement that best reflects your current position in this game:

A - I AM IN COMPLETE CONTROL AT THE MOMENT.

B - I AM CONFIDENT IN MY ALLIANCE AND NOTHING WILL BREAK THAT UP.

C - I NEED TO RE-ADJUST MY GAMEPLAN FROM HERE.

D - I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO UNTIL SOMEONE COMES TO ME WITH IDEAS.

DangerZone: 07292011

Well, my first thought is that I'm perfectly reflected by 2 of these choices: A + C

I AM firmly in control of this game right now. I'm still in a "trusting" alliance with 7/10 players including:

Dave/Hunter (Final 2)
Dave/Hunter/Coach (Final 3)
Dave/Hunter/Frank (Final 3)
Dave/Hunter/Ace (Final 3)
Dave/Hunter/Ace/Jamie (Final 4)
Dave/Hunter/Deena/Crystal (Final 4)

The only people I'm not aligned with in any way are Gretchen, Scout, and Jill. Hmmm, I wonder who I want gone next?

HOWEVER, the reason I also think statement C. defines me right now is because if you aren't re-adjusting your gamplan, you will lose control in a heartbeat. For example, Scout just "spilled the beans" on Ace and Jamie....mostly Ace. She sent an email to EVERYONE (except me, Hunter, Ace, and Jamie) basically selling out Ace for talking crap about all of them. AND she called out our Final 4 alliance. AND she said they should band together and get rid of Ace. AND she said if he wins immunity, they should get rid of "his court jester" Jamie. Lol.

Do I seem worried? Cuz I'm not. Those two got called out. Not me. All that has happened so far is that our alliance got called out. Big deal. I've got others. Pick a number. I needed for people to distrust Ace/Jamie at some point anyway, why not now? AND one thing that Scout pointed out was that Ace didn't care about Coach. Good thing I already let Coach know that Ace had thrown him under the bus a few days ago. Thank Scout, you solidified that for me. Now, as long as I can convince Coach (I can) that I'm still taking HIM to the Final 3, he has NO reason to stray too far. He wants Gretchen out next. Ok. She's on my list anyway.

Scout pretty much sealed her own fate. NO ONE will trust her now because she proved that she will spill ANYTHING to ANYONE. Now, we just keep her around one more vote and split up another twosome instead, like Gretchen/Jill. AND, if the jury doesn't start until the next TC, I can assure that Scout is part of it. I haven't pissed her off, so if it comes down to me, Jamie, and Ace, I'll get her vote. Works for me.

Thanks Scout, you talked all the shit about my allies so I don't even have to do it at some point. :)

WELL.....I'LL START WITH A QUESTION ABOUT THE EVENTS THAT JUST TOOK PLACE AT TRIBAL COUNCIL, AND WE'LL GO FROM THERE........

What was your reaction to Coach giving up immunity to Scout? Did you view it as "honorable" or otherwise? Would it have changed tonight's vote result if Coach had kept it?

Coach's constant preaching of honorablity is like a sports agent preaching integrity and love for their clients. It's all for show. I've known this about Coach for weeks now, and it's fantastic. This is the same guy who came to me a couple weeks ago telling me that there is no way he can win this game based on what's already happened. Now, he's feeling like he has a chance and he's getting too big for his britches. Everyone can call him "honorable" if they feel like it, but they will know the truth at some point. He's still the ideal person for me to take to the finals.

Scout was going nowhere regardless of her getting that immunity. And she will know it before all is said and done. 7 other people, besides Coach, knew that Gretchen was going home last night. All you have to do is look how the challenge unfolded. Who was gone first? Gretchen.

Who was gone 2nd? Dicks.

The only worry would be that Jill, Gretchen, or Scout really buy into Coach's "honorablity". I don't think they have. Even if they have, someone will let them know the truth. But, it won't be me unless its at the Final TC. Let's someone else be the tattle-tale. As long as the truth comes out, it doesn't need to be DD to be serum.

So, at F10 - where does it all go from here? Is it a cakewalk to the end?

Not a chance. Unless you are giving us cake to walk with to the Final IC at the end.

This game is gonna get nuts.

Or as I prefer" "Dangerous"!!!

I literally caught Scout and Crystal making an alliance today. They were so obvious about it. Of course, they had no idea that I know. But, I do. And they will pay for it.

CONFESSIONAL TIME! MY FAVORITE TIME. HERE WE GO . . .

1) How are you balancing short-term thinking and long term thinking from where we are right now in the game?

2) Who are you positive will have your back all the way? Who do you think would never vote with you?

3) Which players do you think are always strategizing? (yourself included) Which players do you think are feeling comfortable and/or confident? (yourself included)

4) What are your thoughts on how this past round went down? How does it affect your current position and how do you progress from here?

AND ELABORATE ABOUT THIS:

DangerZone 08032011:

1. I'm balancing my thinking like a gymnast in the Olympics: as carefully as I can. I'm trying to keep in mind that I need jury votes to WIN this game, but at the same time if I don't make it to the Final TC it won't matter.

My goal is to paint other people in this game as villains, while portraying myself as a sympathetic figure. Funny thing about this game though that I've mentioned before: sometimes the BEST things happen from the (seemingly) WORST scenarios.

What am I talking about? (yeah, I know what you want Brobst). At TC, there was a lot of confusion about who was voting for who. I knew who was going home. It was Scout and Coach. Ace/Jamie/Hunter/Frank all wanted Coach to go home EVEN IF there weren't two eliminations. I stood up against that because it's obviousl to me that Ace and Jamie just want to set themselves up better. Hunter, as he has done a few times, fell for it. He thought of Coach as a wild-card himself and wanted him gone. He didn't understand that Coach had zero intention of voting either him or I out before Ace or Jamie. So, there was no interest on my part to get rid of Coach yet. But, I'm not in a position to just vote against all 4 guys, so I played my part and said I would do it.

And then came the confusion at TC. Somehow, my name got thrown into the mix as a potential target from the girls. Basically, Jamie said that Deena was voting for me. It wasn't true and I knew it wasn't true. HOWEVER, I immediately messaged Scout, Deena, and Crystal and told them how hurt I was that they were voting for me. Of course, they all vehemently denied that this was the case. The key response was from Scout, who swore that she wasn't voting for me. My response to her "Funny thing, but I believe you more right now that I do anyone else in this game." Her last message to me was that I was a good man and she wished me luck in case she was gone after tonight. See how that worked? ;) I may be able to get her jury vote at the Final TC, if I'm there. AND to top it off..... I voted Scout out.

The other key was Coach. I knew he was going. I hated it, but I knew it. I also knew that I was his #1 guy. He had told me long ago that he didn't want to be blindsided. But, I couldn't just tell him that he was going home, so instead I messaged him to say that I was really confused because I was hearing MY name thrown around. He was obviously confused, cuz HIS plan was for 8 ppl to split votes 4-4 and send Jill and Scout home. I couldn't do that (even though I wanted to). So, in the end Coach got blindsided and I didn't vote the way he wanted me to. BUT, I think I did the best I could to make it seem like I got screwed right along with him. I MAY still be able to count on his vote yet.

Now, I just have to work on Deena and Crystal and make sure they still trust me. I can do it. Jamie already is trying to portray me as a villain to them by saying I planned Coach's demise. That is completely the opposite of what happened, but hey, I just told you that I want to paint them as villains too right? Gotta respect the gameplay.

The good news for me is that I'm smarter than Jamie. He goes about his business in such an obvious way. Those girls aren't gonna believe a word he says, so I can turn that on him and get rid of his ass. Effin' turncoat.

2. I am 95% positive Hunter has my back. He's proven his loyalty and I think everyone would hold it against him if he turned on me. I AM 100% certain that we have the tightest alliance in this game. It has never been based on desperation, but on pure respect.

After that there is no one I am positive about. There is also no one that I think would never vote with me. I think I can talk any of them into voting someone out.

3. Always strategizing: Ace, Jamie, Hunter, Deena, Me.

But, I don't discount anyone. They wouldn't be playing an online Survivor game if they weren't huge Survivor fans, and nearly all huge Survivor fans are big into the strategy.

I'm sure Hunter, Ace, and Jamie are feeling confident. Frank might too, but I'm not sure that he ever does. I don't feel that confident because I refuse to be blindsided. I'm 100% confident in my ability, but not in these people.

4. I think I answered this question already lol

As far as catching Crystal in an alliance with Scout: here are the details:

1) Crystal started messaging me one day saying she thought Jill should maybe go home before Scout because she was thinking Jill was more of a threat.

2) I asked why and her response was that Jill has been so quiet that she thinks she has been planning something. (um, no. It's because she hasn't been online)

3) "Coincidentally" while this was going on, the only other people online were Crystal.......and Scout. I had sent a "hi" message to Scout about 45 minutes prior. So, I mentioned to Crystal that I was surprised that Scout hadn't tried to talk to me at all. I said that I had sent her a messaged to "test the waters." (Really, I just wanted proof that Crystal was aligning herself with Scout).

4) Sure enough, about 5 minutes later I received a message from Scout. How sure was I about this new alliance? Crystal clear.

And that is why Scout had to go home. I'm not quite done with Crystal yet.

HERE'S SOME CONFESSIONAL TOPICS FOR YA . . .

1) How positive are you that you know everything going on within the Koryak tribe?

2) Do you feel like it's a downward slide from here or an uphill climb to the end?

3) Rate your chances of winning this game from here at the Final 7. Percentage-wise....from 1% to 100%.

4) Rate your fellow opponents' chances of winning this game percentage-wise as well.

DangerZone 08052011:

1. I'm 100% positive, that I DON'T know everything that is going on within our tribe. If I ever feel like I know everything, I've just lost the edge that I need in this game to survive. Comfortability leads to complacency, which leads to BLINDSIDE!

2. It's neither a downward slide or an uphill climb for me. It's more like an EKG. Up and down, up and down, UP and down, up and DOWWWWNNNN, and then you either LIVE or you DIE.

3-4. Here are my percentages right now of people's chances:

Hunter: 27 %
Dave: 23%
Frank: 15 %
Crystal: 12 %
Deena: 10 %
Ace: 10 %
Jill: 3 %

So there ya go. Obviously there is one thing I'm not thrilled about here. Definitely a conundrum for me. If I could get rid of Hunter I would at some point, but that might just make everyone really dislike me for betraying my most obvious ally. I might get zero votes in that case. My only options are to prove that I deserve it more than he does, which I really do actually. OR, I can instigate something to where I have a reason to get rid of him, without making myself look like I betrayed him. It HAS to look like HE betrayed ME.

But, we'll see. He has been my best friend/ally in this game. It's tough to turn on him. But, I want to win. I don't wan't him to win.

Maybe others think he has the best chances too and realize it after your "brobing" questions. Then, they might gun for him soon anyway. Then, I'm off the hook. Of course, if they think that I have the best chances, well then..... thanks a lot Brobst lol :)
