Quite a while back, I not only watched Coyote Ugly on DVD, but listened to the commentary track, which consisted of all the female actresses going on ad infinitum about their experience on the flick, how much it reminded them of when they first moved to New York, etc. It was like eavesdropping on the most inane slumber party ever.

Reading the public message boards (e.g. The Mountain) on the women's former game site gave me flashbacks to that experience. Even scarier? Many of those players are probably men.

And now that we've brought the men and the women together, it's devolved even further into some strange amalgam of Meatballs, Porky's and Survivors Gone Wild.

Nothing to do but throw more fuel (i.e. booze) on the fire, I guess...

Responses to questions posed in the prior thread:

1) How do you plan to adapt in this new tribe of ten?

I don't think my plan is any different from that of the rest of my tribe...to get to know each person (or try to know them despite whatever veil they have up). I may be a bit more willing, though, and open to new options than some of my tribe.

2) What are your thoughts about uniting your tribe against the opposing 10 from the other half.....or could it benefit you to consider working with them?

At this point, it's trying to win a challenge that is the focus, and working together with our new tribemates. I don't know what's going to happen at a merge...technically, you have four tribes here, and no idea who would trust who. Do we have any reason to trust any of the female players more than we trust Katorga? No idea.

3) Do you think it's important to try to learn what you can about the other game, or are you only focused on your side of the game?

I'm focused on the new game that just started. The personalities and alliances that pre-existed this game are important...but the other GAME interests me less than the other players.

4) At this point, does everyone seem to be wanting to vote strictly down old tribal lines.....or are people wanting to reach across? And if so - which direction?

Most people seem to be ready to vote along old tribal lines...but WANT to start fresh. I think the first vote will be tribal, and once that tie is somehow broken, then people will feel more comfortable exploring new options. I mentioned this to Dave, I think...that the women are at somewhat of an advantage, being at 6-4. A poor performer could be booted from anywhere, and still maintain the power balance.

If your newly combined tribe had to make the trek to Tribal Council next.....what are your thoughts about if it goes to a tie? Are we 100% looking at a deadlock?

Is everyone just willing to gamble and see what happens?
