CONFESSIONAL TIME! MY FAVORITE TIME. HERE WE GO . . .

1) How are you balancing short-term thinking and long term thinking from where we are right now in the game?

2) Who are you positive will have your back all the way? Who do you think would never vote with you?

3) Which players do you think are always strategizing? (yourself included) Which players do you think are feeling comfortable and/or confident? (yourself included)

4) What are your thoughts on how this past round went down? How does it affect your current position and how do you progress from here?

I told you we were at the point where numbers would shift and new deals would open up. lol
So, the plan before the challenge was to get rid of Jill. Scout had said something to all of us and threw Ace under the bus, if if there was a chance one of them could have striked up a deal with Ace, Jamie, and maybe someone else, Jill was the biggest threat, and I wanted to get rid of her before she expected it. It was Deena's idea, but I agreed, and I helped spread the word.

When we found out how the double-boot was going to work, I knew this would be the right time for Ace and Jamie to flip and screw everything up, so I tried to keep them in line by offering them a deal. I told them that after we voted the girls out tonight, they don't have to worry about being the next targets, because I wanted to offer them an alliance with me and Deena, and hopefully Frank to take out the men. Jamie claims he misread the message, which I doubt, and he told Dave that I planned to vote for him tonight. Dave messages me asking why I'm plotting to vote for him, and I told him that I wasn't and whoever said that is making stuff up to split our votes.

Anyway, there are 4 people not from Baikal, and 5 votes went to Baikal people, so someone had to have switched. Hunter and Dave both claim they voted for Scout, so they are implying it must have been Frank. I hope this is true and that the four of us can still continue to work together to get to the end. Now we are trying to figure out how to do the next vote. Even if we all work together, we are only half the votes, and we have to make sure Frank's vote is split from the others'.

Right now, my short-term thinking is that if alliances have flipped out of my favor, I need to win every challenge to make sure they can't vote me out. Long-term, I am hoping my alliance with Dave, Deena, and Hunter pans out and we get control of the game. I'm even thinking of making an offer to Dave and telling him that in the final 4, I am willing to vote Deena out IF he will agree to go to the final 2 with me and vote Hunter out, assuming it's a final 2 and not a final 3.

Deena told me that Jill said she will never work with us, and I didn't think she ever would. Who has my back? I'm hoping Deena still does, and I really want Hunter and Dave to, but I'm not confident they do. Now that alliances are shifting, it might be obvious to other players that me and Deena are a pair and need to be split up. I've even mentioned to Deena and Hunter that Jamie and Ace are a Power Couple and need to go, but I don't want to draw attention to the fact that Deena and myself are also a couple in this game.

I can't speak for Jill, since it is bad strategy to stop talking to people just because you aren't working with them. And yes, I should know, since that was part of what got me kicked out of your first game! And if I talked to more people in the Palau game, the jury wouldn't have all said I was non-existant in the game. Anyway, other than Jill, I think we are all in strategizing mode now. We are all thinking of every angle to ge ourselves to the end, and we are all willing to tell whatever lies we have to to get there.
Deena and I both agreed, and told Jamie, that if Jill gets to the end, we will both vote for her to win. It's just a little threat to make sure they vote her out next! And honestly, after her being the last remaining player from a VERY hated tribe in this game, if she can pull together an alliance and get herself to the end, she DOES deserve it! She actually reminds me of Ashlee from Palau, who was hated and the very first target in the beginning of the game before we were split into tribes, yet she played us all, got to the end, and won. That's why i also can't wait to get her out, because she's that kind of threat.
But I also compare Jamie and Ace to the Kim/Ashlee alliance in Palau, where I KNEW they were a team and I had to split them up, but I never did, and I let them take me out in the end.

I think I've answered your last question by now in all this rambling. lol

I'm glad I could make you proud. I guess in the frst phase of the game, there wasn't much to strategize about, and after the first merge, there wasn't much I could do to break into the girl's alliance, so there wasn't much to say. Now that there is a lot of stratgey needed to get farther, there is a lot more to say.
