I'm thrilled to be in the Final Four! I'll post more tomorrow afternoon though. I have to logoff now since I have to "catch a flight early in the morning" Shame that Ace couldn't make it to the challenge lol |

DangerZone: 08122011 The DZ seems like it's on borrowed time these days, but let's be honest: I've earned it. People can say I was lucky with some of these challenges, but who has ever won Survivor without some timely luck? I won the "Memory Challenge" after making two great guesses at the end. And I did it despite the two players before me trying to prevent me from winning it. The Auction Challenge may have seemed lucky, as Ace tried to tell me anyway. But, I had a strategy and it worked perfectly I knew I was going to bid all my money if I had to on the 1st item. I was banking on the fact that it would be immunity, and it was. I was trying to let the other players know that I was reaching my "limit" around $200 because I KNEW they would be trying to hike the price up on me. But, was able to get out of it without blowing my load lol. If there had been another item, or if Crystal hadn't outbid Hunter on one, I would have gotten the next one because I would have had more money left than the rest. I tried to make sure that everyone who got an item bid more than what I did for the first one. Crystal getting an item really helped me though, so I'm thrilled about that. Now, I just have to wonder what Ace and Frank got with their items. I hope it was either a) nothing helpful or something that would have helped them in the last challenge. My gut tells me that it hasn't come into play yet though. ![]() The last challenge I earned without a doubt. There is a CHANCE that the guys tried to throw it in order to get rid of Jill. But, if they did, I think it was a dumb decision. They didn't NEED to throw the challenge and Jill likely wouldn't have won it anyway. Plus, I will win the jury vote at this point, especially because I'm going to have to win two more immunities to make it to the Finals. And this challenge was tough. I was literally shaking as I copied some of the pictures. And I had an issue with my computer that almost screwed me. Other random thoughts about recent happenings: Jill is nice and all, but really? I pretty much told her she was going home, but she still didn't get it. Dumb. Just dumb. Apparently when Jill fell down the hill with Jack, she must have hit her head. It was comical how much Hunter and Frank (and Jill) wanted to get straight to the vote. I loved being able to make them squirm in their panties. It was the most enjoyable TC I've had all season. Hopefully, I can get to do it again. Crossing my fingers. There were some interesting things that happened during the vote-casting period. I had planned on voting for Jill; I even had my confessional all set. Then, Jill told me that her and Frank (and Hunter) were voting for Ace. So, I switched my vote at the last minute. Looking back, it was dumb on my part, but I DID have a reason. I started thinking that maybe the guys were trying to rush to the vote because Ace hadn't arrived yet. I thought "holy crap, they ARE trying to get rid of him". So, I voted for Ace. Whoops. I had actually messaged Ace during that time to see where his head was at. As usual, I got nothing back other than him thinking he knew who I was voting for (Hunter). I told him he might be surprised (since I was voting for Jill). Then, a few min later, I told him I thought he might be going home so I had to vote for him. He thought that was my surprise vote lol. And he himself said he would be "so pissed if they people told him one thing to his face and then voted him out." Really? I thought it wasn't personal? Ahhh, the hypocrisy. The funny thing is that I realized that he wasn't going to go home right before the votes were revealed, so I PM'd him and told him I was wrong and that he was safe. After it all went down, he thought it was a ploy by me to make him nervous. Sure, we'll go with that lol. Hunter did tell me he thought it was going to be Jill or himself going home. I've opened up the communications channels with him (a couple days ago) and just let him know that I was over him screwing me. I'm not really over it by any means, but he doesn't need to know that. I'll lie to any of them at this point. They are all fair game since they all tried to vote me out. I am "Dangerous" after all. Did they expect me to just lie down and go away. Pshhh, hardly. I've been trying to make these people nervous about their own position for days now. The person who said they were paranoid was Hunter. My response: "I would be too if I were you." It's fun messing with their minds. Not one of the players left in the game responded to any messages from me ALL DAY yesterday before the challenge. So, I knew that I couldn't do anything else except win. I knew there was a chance that they would keep me and blindside someone else (Jill). They didn't need to tell me that. I was hoping that all the talk I've done about not being able to make it to the challenge on Sunday would influence them. As far as me and the challenge times/dates etc.... it's kind of like being a pro-wrestler. A pro-wrestler character is usually just a person's real personality amped up. So, it's based on truth, but just exaggerated. It really would have been more difficult for me if we moved last night's challenge. But, I could have made it without a doubt. I just saw no reason to cater to Ace. And moving it to Wednesday? Please. I needed time to scramble AND I needed time at TC to play with their heads. So, I made up this story about catching a flight early Friday morning and going on vacation until Sunday night. The truth is that I AM going on a mini-vacation to Hershey Park and I'm going to a concert..... Saturday night. And I'm driving. But, I'm coming back early Sunday morning so I can play softball at 11AM. Then, I have a Fantasy Football draft at 4:30 pm (EST). I AM a little worried that it will take a long time and make me hurry to our challenge. But, I'll be there. Without a shadow of a doubt. There never was a question. But, they didn't need to know that. If it placed even a shred of doubt in their minds, it worked. If they tried to throw the challenge, cuz they figured they could get rid of me Sunday? It worked like a charm. Now, I'm in the same position I've been in. I'm going to keep trying to convince each of these guys to keep me one more round. It's all I can do. I'm gonna throw jury votes out there, like I've already done with Frank. I assured him that he could win in the Finals, and he would get MY vote if he just voted out either Ace or Hunter. Clearly, THAT didn't work though. He's either brainwashed, doesn't actually CARE about winning at all, OR he thinks he's going to the Finals with either Ace or Hunter. But, he won't. They will take each other because they know that Frank hasn't made any enemies. I need to keep trying to stress this to him, but he hasn't been receptive yet. I'm also going to keep preaching to Hunter that maybe he should get rid of Frank because Frank will win against him in the Finals. And I'll tell him that he needs to get rid of Ace because Frank will take Ace to the Finals and Ace will take Frank. Is that true? Who gives a crap? And I'll do the same exact thing with Ace. I keep having to tell everyone that it's in their best interest to keep me because no one is going to take me to the Finals anyway and that even if I made it, no one ever votes for the person who needs immunity wins to get to the end...especially in a group full of hardcore Survivor strategists. I love this game.

I really do appreciate your thorough entries. That's a rare thing for first-timers. I usually have to add so many follow-up questions to get them to spill what they're really up to, even though I already know what they're up to. Sometimes newbies tend to think they're writing this stuff for ME. Anyhoo, saw your PM exchange not that long ago where Hunter had admitted to you that he's played before and you admitted to him that you've never played before. That was obviously a surprise to Hunter as was evident by his response. And it might be a surprise to a lot of folks that you've never done anything like this before. ![]() |

Well, thanks Mr. Host-man. That makes me feel pretty good about what I've accomplished so far. I'm really hoping I can pull off another miracle too. DangerZone: 08132011 I've definitely been working it hardcore last night and today. I've been telling all 3 people that SOMEONE is gonna wish they took a shot and worked with me now, because SOMEONE is gonna end up in 3rd place after they vote me out. Also, I completely laid out to Frank why he would go to the Finals 100% if he took me, but that if he didn't he might have to win immunity. He still doesn't seem to be biting though. There is a chance that Hunter and him may come to me to vote out Ace at the last second though. I've got to figure out how to play that, just in case. |

something that would have helped them in the last challenge. My gut tells me that it hasn't come into play yet though.
