FALLEN COMRADES STATEMENTS Congrats to the 3 of you for getting here! Just like how they do the Rites of Passage/Fallen Comrades on SURVIVOR........so do we. ~ Many have gone before you. Some of them you played with. And some of them you may have never met since you were on opposite sides of the Mountain before they departed. ~ Please say whatever you want here as a tribute to each person who was a part, big or small, in how you got here. You can say whatever you want. It's up to you. If they have been in the same game as you even though they might have been on opposite tribes and left before the combine........please acknowledge them as well. But if they were in the other game and left before the big twist and you never even got to meet them, it's up to you if you'd like to post something for them, too. *I will publicly post everything the three of you say in your Fallen Comrades statements. Ponderosa and the Jury House will be able to see it as a public post I will add to the board.* I am also putting together a video for this. So, I need your Fallen Comrades statements posted ASAP. If you do this tonight - I'll be thrilled. If you absolutely cannot get this done tonight, please at least have it posted here no later than 8:00pm Central tomorrow night. (Monday) The sooner the better so I can get it all ready. I CANNOT START WORKING ON THE VIDEO UNTIL YOU COMPLETE THIS. THANKS AND CONGRATS AGAIN! In the order they were voted out: KATHY BOBBY AMY RUPERT CRISTINA DEBBIE BOO JAKE LAURA SARGE GHANDIA BILLY MAD DOG COLBY MIKE LINDA RUTH MARIE SHANE JAMES TERESA TRISH GRETCHEN COACH SCOUT JAMIE DEENA CRYSTAL JILL HUNTER |

I can't say how honored I feel to be able to pay tribute to everyone who played this game. And I know that Ace and Frank will feel the exact same way. Unfortunately, there are many of you who none of us had the chance to get to know. But that doesn't mean that we all didn't share this experience together. None of us would be here without some amount of good fortune, which puts it all into perspective for me. Bobby- I didn't know you at all and from every indication no one else really did either. Sometimes things happen and you can't make the game a priority I guess. Rupert- I think I saw you in a cave ROARRRRING at me. I ran. Boo- Man, did you stir up stuff quick at Katorga. You played so hard and it just came too early to trust you. Jake- We all liked you, but it was just a case of "Too little, too late." Sarge- Heard some good things and that you were doing a good job with your Baikal flag. Billy- Hey Billy (Mogwai!) The first person I ever talked to in this game. You were so much fun on the Mountain and I enjoyed chatting with you. You missed a few days and it made you really nervous, which rubbed off on others too. I knew you were just paranoid and I trusted you, but it was understandably tough for people and we had to have unity. It was heartbreaking to see you go home after that stupid "card challenge", cuz you played it perfectly and there was just nothing you could do about it. I have no doubt you could have went far in this game if you had survived a little longer. Colby- Didn't really know you too well cowboy. But, it was either gonna be a Baikal or a Katorga that night. I'm glad I stayed and you left. Hope everything is okay with that "situation" you told us all about. Mike- You may not have fallen in a fire this time, but you sure tried to start one! You threw A LOT of stuff at me. It may have all been true too, but in a game like this you really have to choose who to trust. I had already chosen. Linda- I actually gave you my vote for immunity that fateful night. Kinda just flipped a coin between two people. Lotta good it did though. Sorry. Ruth Marie- You were very sweet, but we had to keep someone for challenge purposes. And we knew you had a lot of friends on the other side.Shane- Wow. Dude, you are a player! I definitely knew that you weren't just an imaginary Blackberry-toting smoke pit. You were money in the challenges and deceptive as hell. I was kinda happy to see you get voted out, if only because I knew you had it in you to make it to the end. James- Supposedly you turned on the guys at Yo-no-se. The truth is that Yo no se (I don't know). I can't wait to find out if it was true. If you did, I think it was a terrible move, but apparently you were pissed off at Shane so you did what you had to do. At least you didn't hurt yourself out of the game though right? In a different situation, I could see myself working with you because I liked the vibe I got from you in our conversations. Teresa- T-Bird! You know that the swap destroyed you and it's just the perfect example of how luck plays a huge part in this game. You were pretty awesome and I think you actually had convinced a couple guys to keep you, even though the other tribe was just packed with your Yeti's. I really appreciated how much you wanted to play this game. Trish- Honestly, you annoyed me to death and you never even tried to talk to me. I was not unhappy to see you go because I knew that I could enjoy my RL more without a zillion postings to read every day. I really wanted to know what that damn Leprechaun was all about! Gretchen- You seemed really nice and I think you wanted to work with us. But, your perceived loyalty to Scout made it too risky. I'm sure you are gonna have some interesting questions for whoever makes it to the FTC. Coach- Ah, the Dragon Slayer. You took it on the chin pretty hard the night you got voted out. I wonder if you know what happened cuz it was a mess. I know I didn't eat any bread that night bro. Scout- Initally, I was surprised at how strong a player you were, especially in the challenges. I don't remember "Scout" being that good lol. And you sure caused a ton of commotion with a certain email (Scoutgate!). Jamie- JD, Charlie Sheen, antics galore! Jamie you are definitely one of the most memorable characters in this game and you brought so much to all of our tribes, especially Katorga of course. Circumstances happened of course and you got blindsided. I know you said you had an epic FTC speech prepared. I bet you still will brotha. Deena- Of all the people in this game, I think it's possible that you were the one that many people were the most confused about. Nobody knew what you were really up to. You sure made things interesting though! Crystal- For someone who seemingly had a target on their back for a long time (well before the merge), you sure made it a long way. I really enjoyed our talks and it's no secret what happened to you obviously. You probably are really pissed at me cuz I know you think I may have ruined your chances in this game. Sorry for that Jill- I never really got a good chance to get to know you, and I'm sorry for that. I know the other girls thought highly of you though. Hunter- My best friend in this game for so long. I know you are pissed at me right now, no matter how much you say "it's just a game." Obviously, I had to do what I thought was best last night. You had this game under control and I don't think anyone can argue that you were playing a phenomenal strategic and social game. Wow, so that's 29 people that have played this game and left before the 3 of us. It's such a reality-check and it could have played out so many different ways. We ALL know how many crazy twists and turns there have been here in Siberia. As this game reaches its climax, all I can say is "Amazing." I can't wait to meet you all on the other side. |

Do me a fave and add a quote for Mad Dog. I should have made that more clear that anyone who made it to the F20 combine will be featured in the video. None of you were on a tribe with some of these folks, but make sure to include something for her since she made it to the F20 stage with y'all. |

Sure, I should have figured that out anyway. Mad Dog- I barely knew you, if barely meant not at all. I'm sure you're more Mad than Dog though. Well, I hope so anyway. |

Just read the FC comments and watched the video. Loved the video. Absolutely loved it and it really made me feel like I was heading toward the final IC and paying my respects. Gave me chills. And from reading the comments by Ace and Frank, I'm thrilled. I wanted to accomplish one thing from this: Make myself look like more of a dick than those two. And I think it worked. I didn't say much as they did. I said more "mean" things. I think I came across as the person who thinks the most people are mad at them. Frank bascially just apologized to everyone and said how much he wants to be their best friend later. But, he also indicated many times that he didn't know what was going on. That sucks. I hope Ace still sees me as a little bit better of an option to take to the F2 now. I need to keep trying to make it seem like I'm worth taking because I can be beat. Ace wasn't as apologetic as Frank for sure. But, he didn't really say anything negative either and he went into much more detail about his strategy. I wanted to come across like I was kinda clueless. If I make the F2 I'll change their mind. I need to get there first and I need to paint myself in the worst light possible. That's why I've even mentioned to Frank and Ace how dumb I felt about my self-vote and the accidetnal PM to Trish. I NEED to appear beatable to even have a chance at going to the Final 2 if I don't win Immunity. Even if they weren't playing the game in this, I sure was. |

Do you think the other two didn't spend as much time thinking about how certain comments might come across? Or did they just think this is kinda a tradition and just to say whatever they want to get it off their chest and assume Fall Comrades doesn't have a strategic aspect? |

I assume that they did think about how comments might come across. They may have thought their best bet was to show how "strategic" they have been cough...Ace...cough. Or in Frank's case, maybe he wanted to just keep trying to be the nice, innocent guy. It's really not THAT important to me when it really comes down to it. For me, I have to try and take any opportunity to make myself seem like a valid option to take to the F2. And for this it meant trying to look like somewhat of a douche. I do think the best strategy for everyone in this would have been to sound like a jerk. No one is going to want to take someone who they might lose to in the Finals, unless they really don't care about winning at all. I don't know if there is THAT kind of loyalty in this game anymore. We've had too many issues. But what do I know? Ace and Frank might be signing "Kumbaya" right now and professing their undying love for each other. I still have to win the challenge. |
