This is the part I hate most and am worst at. Confessionals.

I am still trying to feel out everyone. My strategy is to find the perfect middle ground for the first few rounds. No one knows what to really expect with the format being such a mystery, so I think everyone is shying away from strategy talk for now. At least, no one really talks strategy with me. I am not going to be aggressive enough to bring it up first. That has a tendency to get me in a lot of trouble. What I need to do is just keep calm and not flip out like I did in Godfather.

I never expect to win games, so for the time being my goal is to just make is as far as I can. I want to try and be that quiet player who is never really in control of the game but instead is the person people trust and want to include in their plans. Although who even knows if you can plan things out in this game? :iiam idk what to think at all.

Is it still just all the ordinary "opening weekend rambling" or have any tried to step things up and get things moving forward since last night?

Walter has been telling me how much he wants to stick with me in this game and that he likes me a lot. He also seems very cautious about the idea. With the game's format being a complete unknown, he seems like he is trying to set up some sort of alliance, but at the same time is not trying to do too much too fast. I think that once people understand the game better then they will step it up and talk strategy more.

Walter seemed to allude to wanting an alliance with Henry and Elsa perhaps. Even though Walter says he wants to be close with me, I do feel like he and Henry are going to be the true pair here. That's not to say I think I would be completely on the outs or anything, but I just feel like given the choice between Henry or I, Walter would pick Henry. My goal to get around this is to try and get my own ally who I can be similarly tight with. I was thinking perhaps Indy. I feel like he and I get along well as well. Willie is also fun. We are "competitive" but it is all just ice-breaker fun we are having. I highly doubt there is any actual ill will between Willie and I.

Good to see things are picking up! That's a lot of forward thinking for a situation that may not come around for like 2 more weeks.

At this point, are there people you've spoken with that have rubbed you the wrong way and you do not want to work with?

Oh, I always overthink everything  I do not actually expect to make it that far (gotta love that self confidence) I just can't help but think/plan that far ahead. It's how I generally size up a cast right at the beginning. I always thinking about how well I would do with them in getting to the end game.

I don't even hate anyone at all. I put on a front of disliking Short Round and little Prince What's his name, but they do not particularly irritate me much. It's only the opening weekend, though. It's rare for me to remain 100% sane for an entire game, so eventually I will have someone I hate for little to no reason at all :shrug

Why's that? Is this team a bad situation for you? If so, do you wish you picked someone else instead of Zalim? I think you picked Zalim.

Oh, I just mean that my plan to be more of a floater is much harder in a tribe of 10. I was anticipating all of us still being the same group of 20.

Essentially I am just changing up my initial game plan a bit. I took initiative to try and put together an alliance of 4 (more to be added later, I hope) Of Zalim, Henry Sr. and Indy. That seems like a nice place to start.

I initially did not want to take that initiative and make moves, but the format has me worried, so I need to ensure my safety. It seems like a pretty solid tribe, though. I like them all and have no real problems with anyone, so it should be interesting.

In spite of my reputation, even I am not so cruel to leave you in a full group the whole game unless 16 or fewer people.

And thank you for that! Having 24 people and no PM restrictions in Vertigo 14 was a nightmare.

Unless things necessitate on that, I'm not really a huge fan of doing stuff like that. I find that often times (not always), that it wears players out too much, and basically the complete and total game is a PM grind. I don't think my format and all that last game was that bad, but like... nobody left their PM boxes outside of challenges, and all.
