I am back in high spirits again Upon my return from the hospital I was welcomed to the sight of a nomination, but a unanimous vote to keep me. Should I be worried? Probably not. My plan remains the same. I intend to be the person that everyone can rely on. I feel like with 5 big competitors left in Indy, Willie, Henry, Belloq and Sallah, I can continue to slip by quietly as they all focus on taking out one another. I work to keep myself safe, so my UTR game is unlike others who just sit and do nothing. I am sure there are those who would see me as such, but when you are not exactly winning challenges it is hard to seem like you are having a major impact on the game. It has gotten to the point of the game where my true worth will really be put to test. Sallah approached me to work together. I need to play both sides for as long as I can. I informed Indy of this approach by Sallah to desire to work with me. But I also made a strong strategic suggestion to Sallah in the event he wins power. My entire strategy has revolved around covering my bases, and just going with the flow. I do ultimately want to remain loyal to Indy, Willie and Henry, however, I need to have a backup plan for if those 3 lose control of the game and players like Sallah keep on winning challenges. If my plan works, then my displays of loyalty to Indy and the others should keep me in the game until 4 at the very least should they all keep winning. And should Sallah win, I need him to know that keeping me safe is valuable to him. In games like this you have to play the hand you know best. I have not been challenge whoring, so I see my next best option is making sure I am never the target for those who do win power. It is no easy task, but I feel like it could work. |

Glad you're back on your feet again! Anyway, how are plans coming together for tomorrow night? That update, you didn't mention Zalim at all and only mentioned Belloq in passing as one of the "competitors". So what do you make of those two at this point? |

Thanks ![]() Well with Zalim he is essentially in a similar position I am. He is not winning challenges, and he would be a valuable vote to those that would have him. However, it has constantly been mentioned to me by everyone that they are shocked to see him here since they view him as having a weak social game. I was talking with Indy and it seems the plan for tonight is to boot Sallah and Belloq (shoud he and our other alliance mates be so lucky as to be the ones with power, obviously) And so I think where Zalim lies in that is he would be 5th out tomorrow night. Unless they start to view his inferior social skills as an asset, then I could be the one to take his place at 5th. However, if it goes as I think it will, Zalim will be gone quite soon having made little impact on things. |
