Meh, my tyranid playing friend plays with 6 Balrogs...I've never really played LoTR, but i've heard he's quite good.

actualy i recon it might be the most powerfull, depending in how u play, i mean mumaks are good for takeing out swaths of heroes and infantary and anything realy but is evenly mathched against the balrog, and souron well he only has the magic going for him in the big comp of the heavys, if he loses his majic somehow then the mumak or balrog would make him go squish.

don't forget his 2+ invun save, you could spend days just bashin him accross the head and nothing would happen

eh i always seem to end up roling a one for that...
or bombarding him with so many hits he dies, once i hit him with a catapult that wiped him out without a ring save.

they can also be a cheap alt to squigoths and chaos mammoths if you are good at converting.

With War of the Ring on the immediate horizon, Mumak spam is in full effect, so I'm going to avoid the issue by using Black Numenorean Knights and Easterling Kataphrakts as all the heavy cavalry I should require. The only item I need from the Harad list is a Hasharin to put with my Morgul Stalkers. :vampire:

Oh, and two Ringwraiths to tie it all together. :P
