ok so recently i have bought myself some goff rockers, but they have been sat on my shelf for ages because i couldent get motivated to paint them.
now however , after many long hours of playing rockband , i feel enthused to create a full compliment of green day
not only that, but my long term goal extends to,
creating a warboss who looks like a manager
mobs of boys that look like screaming fans
mobs of nobs dressed as burly body guards
a battle wagon that doubles up as a stage, with built in mp3 player with speakers.
posibly a titan stage with the warhound im working on as a side project now
any other surgestions for this most cheesy of armys please post them up hear, im going to start work painting the guys tonight, i should have picks of the first by tomoro

dala, that is frigging excellent man, that is just what im looking for, as i don't want my mp3 hooked up to it constantly.
i don't suppose anyone knows a good source for a compact amp so that i can turn some old headphones onto some powerful speakers

i found this on Argos, its £10 but its small enough to fit ontop of a ipod. it could work. they don't have them anymore but i bought some speakers which is similar to this apart from the volume controls.

you misunderstand me dala though those are excellent products, i may include them in the titan build
however, to best explain my predicament, pictures are needed hear is what i have been working on today. it is the detachable speaker stacks with exhaust that will attach onto the back of the land raider chassis that will form the basis of the battle wagon

hear is theback view with the exhausts and the hatch into the electronic gubinz

and that is the wire from the speakers
now the speakers that i have built into this array are free be ones that i got on a flight to Canada to go see Martha, as such they provide very little sound. what im looking for, in addition to the mp3 player that dala has so kindly sourced for me, is some form of amp that i can plug into the mp3 player and also plug the headphones into, preferably without any creative re wiring.
if anyone knows of anything that may work then im all ears, i would be looking on cpc, but the website is down at the moment.
in the mean time, what do people think of the basic work on the speaker stacks they aren't finished yet, i still need to putt netting over all the speakers, and i plan to make more spotlights and possibly some tecky grots scampering around the top of the amps

big update
right after my holiday last week i decided to knuckle down and get some work done. i'v basically left the amps alone for the moment, i will work more on them later.
instead iv decided to work more on the artists themselves
first, some improved pictures of billy joe

then we have the now finished bassist mike drint

and finally, my favorite work so far, tre cool and his drum kit

and of course what band is complete without its iconography

finally a group shot of them all

well thats pretty much all, they are set to play gigs now, next stop, is a set of wheels to ride around in

Very impressive. Are you mounting them on a battle wagon then?

ill be mounting the amps on a battle wagon that will also function as a stage, the rockers themselves i think i will keep separate. have them so that they can still walk around, or be transfered between transports.
i may construct a mini tracked base for the drums so that the whole band can go on foot if need be.

ok update time
it all started with a standard land raider, that i forgot to take a picture off
first things firs i ripped out all the weapons, as per ork custom lol i also removed the engine and the top hatch
then i grabbed the bassie that id already partially dismantled for the drum riser and started attaching bits and pieces hear and there, throw in the remains of a shed and quite a bit of plasticard and the remains of some headphones and well, ill let the picks do the talking.

now you may be asking, why has he left those gaping holes in the top ??? well ill show you
when we add in the now pretty much finished speakers

and throw in a drum kit on the top

and suddenly, you cant see the holes.
lets bring in the rest of the band eh

musical drive by

i know the pipes don't fully match up, yet. its a work in progress.
