Fought in a five-way 1000-point-per free-for-all last night. I fielded my Chaos fleet (basic Undivided), against a Nid fleet, a Demiurg fleet, a Space Marine fleet, and a Slaanesh-Mark Chaos fleet. My ORBAT was:
The vagarities of positioning put me on opposite sides of the board from the Slaanesh fleet, so no tag-team was available. I ended up having to face off with the other three fleets simultaneously, which turned ugly real fast. I dealt the most damage to the Tyranids, but ended up sucking the full firepower of the Demiurg at point-blank range, and thanks to the stupid Space Marine cannons I had lost most of my shields by that point. By the end of turn 8 or 9, I was down to one Devastation cruiser and its fighter complement, and it managed to survive the game, so not a total loss. The Space Marines took the least damage (lost 1 escort to the Demiurg). The Nids split their forces and went at me and the Slaanesh fleet, but were reduced to just their Hive Ship by the time we were done. The Demiurg lost one cruiser but their battleship and their other cruiser survived. The Slaanesh fleet had a Styx and a Murder left, along with a couple of Idolator escorts, but were on the wrong side of the board to capitalize on the Space Marine lack of shields.
