The DMC Chronicles: Order 65
K'torr sighed. "Very well. Now, all we need is an image of Sidious' face... if we can even find one," he said. "I'm open to suggestions."

Steam is off-line...
Dammit, steam, you useless piece of s**t...

No, Steam isn't off-line for everyone, just me. I just wanted friends and allies alike here to know that I'm no longer on Steam; while trying to figure out what the f**k was wrong with it, my steam account has become completely inaccessible. As a result, my available games have been cut in half and I can no longer talk to those of you on steam that talk to me. Therefore, if anyone needs to get into contact with me for whatever reasons, I'll be on Skype. My Skype name is viktor_drakona. As soon as this issue with Steam is resolved, you'll be the first to know.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
Faasnu shelled out the 150 credits and handed them to Calliope. "Thank you," he tells her, before donning his helmet, picking up the quilt, and walking away.

"But why carry such an assortment of weaponry casually?" Drummer asks. "I lived in a city under a 20 year seige with less people carrying weapons. If these so called 'enemies' are such a serious threat, why not wage war on them to keep your citizens safe?"

"That's not for me to answer," Faasnu said. "You'd be better off asking little brother about that - and you needn't worry about my... extensive armament. One: I like to have my options open. Two: In the event one of my lightsabers are destroyed, I already have a replacement. Three: Most of these are trophies from kills long ago. Four: Most people on Dragon'taan aren't as heavily-armed as I; in fact, the most you see on people here is a blaster or pistol or something small like that."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Dragon'taan society is a very... militant... society. The dragon-shifters prefer it that way, for reasons I've yet to discern. But, regardless, Dragon'taan is safer than most other worlds; the DMPD keep the peace... quite well. Few criminals willingly come here to start trouble," Faasnu explained. "After all, who would want to make trouble on a world of warriors that can morph into dragons? The prospect of such a thing is suicidal at best. I imagine, however, that this world is so 'militarized' in the event that any given enemy of the DMC should actually make it to the surface of Dragon'taan... and the DMC has no shortage of enemies - ISC, The Borg, the Covenant Remnant... to name a few. Zaariin's Galactic Empire out of Universe 02-Gamma tops the list, however."

"Master Fasnuu why did Drake spill that on your blanket?" Amie asked standing next to the dragon shifter."I told him not to." She sighed.

(Faasnu's not a dragon-shifter.)

Faasnu chuckled. "Even Drake needs to have a little fun now and again, Amie - it's no big deal," he told Amie.

Faasnu chuckled. "I need a blanket for a queen-sized bed," he said. "Something... thick, something that'll keep me warm when little brother has the A/C making the house feel cold at night." He paused, then added, "I wasn't trying to threaten you, earlier; I just thought you knew that the 'Darth' in my other name name implied I was a Sith... emphasis on was."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"My nephew decided to pull a prank and dump a jug of sports drink all over me this morning, and got it all over my blanket," the man said. "So, until my little brother stops using the washer, I am in need of a blanket. Besides, that blanket has been needed a replacement for months now." He paused, considering Drummer's earlier comment about being armed, then stated, "Don't worry about the lightsabers; I only use them on... proven threats. Name's Indari, by the way - Mathayus Indari... though most in the galaxy know me as Faasnu... Darth Faasnu, but don't mistake me for a true Sith - that part of me has been left, buried and forgotten, in my past."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
Just as Calliope makes her comment, a man quite famous on Dragon'taan appears before the stand Calliope and Drummer ran. He had multiple lightsabers clipped to his belt, his robes looked old and somewhat ragged, and his face was hidden beneath a Cerinian Sith helmet. People around him generally either bowed or hurriedly got out of his way. He regarded Drummer and Calliope without comment, then removed his helm, revealing his face. He had several facial scars, and asked as he held his helmet under his arm, "Are these real?"

Kabier wandered about the halls of the Dragon until she came to the captain's quarters and saw Viktor making the bed. "I thought you were going to the market," Kabier said.

"I found what I was looking for," Viktor said. "This was just one of them."

Kabier looked and saw the Blanket Viktor bought at the market. "You got a new blanket?" she asked, crossing her arms with a smile.

"Yes, but the item I got for you is six feet behind you," Viktor stated.

Kabier turned around and saw a small box. She walked over, picked it up, and opened it. Inside was a bright ruby pendant. Kabier gasped in surprise. "You got this for me?" she asked. Viktor walked over behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Especially for you, darling," he whispered in her ear. He helped her put the Pendant on, after which Kabier turned around and locked lips with Viktor in a passionate kiss.

Kabier raised an eyebrow, shrugged, and said, "Alright. Thanks!" She headed off for parts unknown, vanishing into the crowd. She wound her way through the masses, then activated a communicator. "Kabier to Clara - can you beam me to the Dragon?"

"Affirmative," the AI responded, "Stand by."

Moments later, Kabier vanished in a flash of red light.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Again, I'm fine," Kabier said. "But what's Viktor doing back on the Dragon? Did he say anything before heading there?"

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Damn," Kabier grumbles. She looks to Rae and says, "To answer your question, Rae - I'm fine. Just trying to find Viktor."

The DMC Chronicles: Order 65
K'torr sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Rae, do you have an image of Chancellor Palpatine's face, for the record?"

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Hnh... could really use a blanket like this on my boyfriend's ship; it can get a little cold in there," Kabier commented. Her face twitched, and she added while digging into her pocket, "Speaking of which, have you seen the man in this picture recently?" She showed Drummer and Calliope a picture of herself and Viktor in front of the statue of General Indari in the Central District.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
(Kursed, that's "Viktor," not "Vicktor." The Russians spell Viktor differently than Americans [who spell it "Victor"])

Viktor heads back to his ship, disappearing in a prolonged flash of red light. Not ten minutes later, a young lioness with long, brown hair, glasses, and brown eyes wanders into the Merchant District. She browsed through varied goods, and stopped in front of the stand owned by Calliope and Drummer. She runs a hand along the soft blankets and comments, "This can't be replicated; too... soft." She looks up and Drummer and Calliope. "Did you make this by hand?" she asks.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"200 it is," Viktor agrees, shelling out two hundred credits and handing them to Drummer. He hefted the blanket over his shoulder and added, "Oh, if you see this woman come around here..." he showed Drummer and Calliope a picture of a young Liiraan Lioness - Kabier - and continued, "And she asks where I am, tell her I went back to the Dragon and that I have a surprise for her. Please?"

The DMC Chronicles: Order 65
"Certainly," the doctor said. He quickly removed the metal from Raze's hands, then sterilized and bandaged the wounds. "I'd advise you take it easy until these heal completely," the doctor said when he finished.

"Indeed," K'torr sighed. "We need something... anything... to point us in the right direction, but solid intel has so far been... scarce. We'll look over the data Rae got from the enemy ship, see what we can find, though I doubt it'll be anything we don't already know."

The DMC Chronicles: Order 65
One of the doctors approached Raze. "And what might be your problem, sir?" he asks him.

Meanwhile, while waiting for Raze to get to the bridge, K'torr turns to Drummer. "You have any suggestions for where we should look for any usable intel? Preferably where we might find an image of Darth Sidious' face, or something that'll shed light on this... charade?"

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
Viktor looked over the blanket Calliopie brought. It was perfect. "How much?" he asks.

The enemy mech assets began moving through the area, keeping sensor sweeps active, looking for Dragon Star. When they were far enough into Drake's trap, he commanded over the channel, "Dragon star - hit 'em!" His mech was the first to rise from the waters, and he fired several weapons at the legs of one enemy mech, bringing it down into the waters.

The DMC Chronicles: Order 65
"You're right - We don't know that this Darth Sidious is anything related to the Chancellor. We need a face to go with the name. We need more - but where to--" K'torr started.

"Sir, the enemy fleet is falling back," Tactical announced.

"They aren't retreating; they're regrouping. They'll be back," the XO commented.
