Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
Dovahkiir shrugged. "As you wish," he said before stepping onto the bridge.

"Officer on deck!" one of the crewmen shouted. The bridge crew snapped to attention, never once casting a glance to Raze.

"As you were," Dovahkiir responded. "Are our supplies loaded?"

"Aye, sir," the XO answered.

"Very well," Dovahkiir said. "Helm, ascension protocol - set course for Tamriel 'soon as we hit orbit."

"Aye, sir - ascension protocol," the helmsman responded. The deck began to vibrate slightly as the gravity lift was raised and the CCS Battle Cruiser began to push for orbit. On the forward screens, the beautiful blue Dragon'taan skies could be seen, slowly darkening as the vessel moved up into the sky.

Dovahkiir laughed. "Not Verse, 'verse - universe. You're from a Tamriel in a universe different than the one I am from; but it's no big deal - I can get you home just the same. I just need to know what exactly happened in your Tamriel to better identify the exact Universe you're from," he explained.

(Too long to send in a PM - it's 299 pages. Too much to edit to better suit the format of this forum. I'll post it in Non-StarFox works or whatever and post the link.)

Dovahkiir frowned. "Battle of Windhelm...? Oh, you're from one of those 'verses. Maybe you should tell me exactly what happened in the Tamriel you knew - so I can better find the Tamriel you know. I can drop you off there before or after I drop off the supplies. Your call."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
(Seriously, Jack - you should read Battleground: Tamriel. It'll explain a lot. Got a place I can send it to you?)

"As in, she still holds a grudge against Ulfric for the death of her husband," Dovahkiir responded. "Why she won't let it go after all these years is, frankly, beyond me." Dovahkiir paused for a moment, then asked, "If you knew Queen Elesif, did you know General Tullius?"

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"At last report, she was just fine, though that was two weeks ago," Dovahkiir answered. "If you wish, I could establish contact with her via subspace transmitter while we're waiting - Let her know you're still kicking." Dovahkiir paused, then added, "Just... be careful around the Ulfric Stormcloak subject. She's still a bit sensitive on that." The Gravity lift deposited the two of them on the deck of the cargo bay. "Just follow me and stay close," Dovahkiir whispered to Raze.

"No. Why you ask?" Amie asked.

"Just curious," Drake replied. "Figured he'd have given us a sit-rep by now."

For a second, Raze considered simply nodding and leaving it at that. But what harm was there in talking to a stranger? Quite a bit, but this man was giving him his home back.

"I have trouble talking." He says after a second of thought, having to construct the sentence in his head. "It has been a while since i have had to speak for myself. I am blessed with friends and... retainers who are more than willing to say my piece for me."

"I see," Dovahkiir said. "Well, if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them; we have a while to wait while the supplies are loaded and the ship is readied."

"I'm pretty sure he knows and he doesn't care as a matter of fact I think he encorages it if I recall correctly." Amie replied.

"Yeah, that's one way to put it," Drake said. "Oh, and speaking of dad, Amie, did you hear anything from him?"

The Altmer, dethroned? Raze had a sudden urge to throttle the man aside him until they went faster. He had to see the look on Lydias face. He just had to.

"You don't say much, do you?" General Dovahkiir asked.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Ever since the Second Great War, Skyrim, Black Marsh... every province has been better than ever," Dovahkiir responded. "Even Summerset Isle, considering the damage it took during the invasion. But after the war... with the Aldmeri Dominion overthrown... and it's leaders executed or imprisoned... yeah, everything got a whole lot better. Ask my wife - she was with me from the start of the war to the finish. Even during that messy invasion of Summerset Isle."

In response to Amie's putting an arm around Drake's shoulder, Drake slid an arm around Amie's side, resting it on her hip.

"Does your dad know you two do that?" the Romulan asked.

"If he does, he doesn't seem to care," Drake responded.

General Dovahkiir motioned for Raze to follow him. "Come on, then - you're going home," he said. He stepped onto the gravity lift and waited for Raze. "Don't be shy - the grav lift is harmless."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Oh, is that why you're here? Getting a ride home?" General Dovahkiir asked. He shrugged, then added, "Can't say I blame you. Few Argonians willingly leave their homeland. But you may find that Tamriel has... changed, significantly... since last you were there. As I'm sure you're aware, we have a trade agreement with the Empire of Tamriel - one that has stood since the end of the second great war. But we can talk more of that on the way." He turned, heading for his ship, but stopped, looking over his shoulder. "Unless you'd rather stay here..." he told Raze.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"You there, Argonian!" a voice calls out. A man, wearing a DMC uniform adorned with the stars of a Lieutenant General, approaches Raze. "Who are you, and what are you doing here? Never mind what you're doing in the Warehouse District, what are you doing on Dragon'taan? I don't remember seeing any reports of Argonians leaving Tamriel."

The name stenciled on this man's uniform read, "Dovahkiir, F."

A Silver vixen enters the bar taking a seat at the front in one of the bar stools. Looking around the bar she ask "Do you serve root beer here?"

"Yes, we do," the bartender answered. He grabbed a bottle from one of the shelves and handed it to the silver vixen.

"You kinda implied it." Amie replied giggling, her arm moving to Drake's shoulder (Is drake a cerinian fox -dragon shifter?)

(Yes, he is.)

Raze's breath catches in his throat. He is rendered speechless for a few moments as emotions play havoc in his head.

Surprise, excitement, and then sudden doubt and dismay. Supply runs...?

Raze takes a moment to compose himself, shutting down the tempest of emotions threatening to overwhelm him in a public area. The logical portion of his minds fires, using the facts to outline a very simple plan.

"Where might i find this... Dovahkiir and this ship?"

"Last I heard, the ship taking General Dovahkiir to Tamriel is landed at bay three - look for the green CCS Battlecruiser hanging low on a gravity lift," the bartender responded. "As for where mister Dovahkiir is... I don't know. I would imagine, however, he is in the warehouse district securing the supplies going to Tamriel - if you hurry, you may catch him while he's still there."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"I didn't say I had a problem with it, Amie," Drake said. "I was merely asking you a question."

"Believe it or not, Tamriel is in this 'verse - it's in uncharted space, but we know how to get there. Dragon'taan merchant ships make occasional trips there to trade supplies," the bartender said. "If you're looking to get back, I'd recommend you speak with Lieutenant General Faasnu Dovahkiir; he's in charge of DMC affairs there. He's currently here on Dragon'taan getting supplies, but I don't know how long he's gonna be here - he takes the next flight to Tamriel in two hours."

(Jack, in order to understand General Dovahkiir and the DMC's connection to Tamriel, you'll have to read my Battleground: Tamriel story. Just let me know if you want me to post it.)

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Of course," the bartender says, getting another glass of water before he nabs a bottle of Cyrodiilic Brandy and Dragonarian Brandy. He sets them down on the counter before Raze and comments, "You know, no offense, but I didn't think an Argonian would want to come to Dragon'taan, what with the reputation dragons have on your world."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"Which Brandy?" the bartender asks as he gets Raze's water.

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
"What's 'best' is a matter of perspective," the bartender explained to Raze. "Our Romulan Ale is quite popular here, but so are a lot of our alcoholic beverages. We also have Nord Mead, Black-Briar Mead, Cyrodiilic Brandy, Klingon Blood Wine, Corellian Ale, Ruby Bliels, Dragonarian Brandy, Kemorainian Ale, and Dragon'taan Wine. We also have a variety of Terran Soft Drinks. Take your pick."

Dragon'taan: Heart of the Marauder Corps
The bartender chuckled. "Dragonarian Cigars are different than smokes that humans use; something about how the Dragonarians make them. I don't understand it, either - I'm just the bartender. You want to learn why Dragonarian Cigars are allowed here, either ask General Indari or ask the proprietor of this place - both of whom are gone at present." He sighed, then asked, "You want a drink?"

RX Mauser H1

This weapon from Remus-Xerron Industries (RXI) is a new Hybrid Rifle Design using an updated version of an old rifle caliber. The RX Mauser H1 has a primary fire that fires 7.92x33mm Kurz bullets - the same caliber used by the German StG44 during Earth's Second World War. The updated 7.92x33mm bullets used in the H1 are made from Hardened Magnesium infused with Kadgeron Radiation, giving them improved penetration capabilities (to both body armor and energy shields) compared to the original German design. As a Hybrid Rifle, the H1 also has a Kadgeron Disruptor integrated into the weapon frame, giving the H1 another fire mode in desperate situations. Though the H1 has Iron Sights, many who use the rifle prefer a dual-sight system consisting of a moveable ACOG and a Holographic Sight.

RX Kalashnikov AK50M7

Arguably the most popular weapon in RXI's Kalashnikov line of weapons, the AK50M7 is the seventh model in the RX Kalashnikov series. It comes equipped with a select-fire feature, an integrated Kadgeron Disruptor, Tactical Foregrip, Folding Stock, Holographic Sight and Muzzle Brake. It fires 7.62x39mm Hardened, Kadgeron-infused Ferro-Uranite rounds, giving it much-improved penetration capability compared to it's predecessors, and the ability to fire Kadgeron Disruptor pulses from the secondary weapon integrated in the frame gives it another method of attack. Like the Archaic AK47 the AK50 is based on, the AK50 (though it remains unclear how) never jams, and can still be fired - disruptor included - after being buried in a lake for a year. This rifle gained far more popularity than the later AK50M8, which featured an integrated sound suppressor, and has found it's way into nearly every official Military in the Alliance.

"Just what the name implies - a cigar created by the Dragonarians. Before you ask, no, we don't have any here - the only one I know of who ever smoked them is General Indari himself," the bartender said. "We didn't have a lot of customers who smoked Dragonarian cigars, so there seemed little point in keeping a supply of them here."

The DMC Chronicles: Order 65
The XO shook his head. "That's public knowledge," he spoke up. "We're looking for things that the public doesn't know."

"I am of a mind with Malavi," K'torr said. "Raze, Drummer, either of you want to add anything to this? You're both awfully quiet."
