Do you remember the day you first held a Gameboy, (for some the later models like Pocket and Color) the feel that now you can take your favorite little games with you, even to school?

Same here, though I must admit, they were not my first game for the Gameboy Pocket. Donkey Kong Country 2, Star Wars, Game and Watch Gallery were my firsties xD

I remember getting my Game Boy Color and my parents threatening to take it away if they caught me playing it during bedtime.

OMG I was in the same boat. I had it taken away from me at school a couple of times, cause I was dumb and left the volume on xD

I still have an original white game boy, not slim model or anything, with Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. :eyebrow:

I played my DS in high school. I asked the teachers and made sure it was okay as long as it didn't distract and I was finished with my work.

See, sometimes it pays to become friends with your teachers! :t^_^:

That would never in a million years happen to me...heck anyone I know. That teacher must be awesome.

Anyway, my first GB was a colour. Then I got the pocket from my cousin. Next I got my GBA (again from my cousin). And finally, the DS...if that counts as a GB.

The main game I did play for GB colour (because I had it the for longest time out of all GB I had received) was pokemon Silver. When I was done the story, I remember spending another 50 hours on it because I was hooked on to it. Then my friend gave me Red a few years later. That's when I went to GB pocket and worked on Red. When I finished, I started to play a few other games like Super Mario Land (sooo frustrating) and megaman. Next, my GBA life consisted of Megaman and Bass, Golden Sun 1 and 2, Breath of Fire II, and a few other games. Surprisingly, not Pokemon R/S/E.

Well, my high school was just cool like that. Its teachers were too.

My first was a Pocket. I had that thing forever, hell, it got so broken down that the front glass came off and the bar code on the back were gone.

I remember getting so mad because I couldn't play it in the car at nighttime. Look where we are now XD

My school was pretty laid back, actually, and I stayed out of trouble. Like I said, each year, I make sure to get to know my teachers personally (since I was usually the last one out of the classroom, we often have little conversations after class). Once they get to know me, the start to trust me and sometimes let me get away with some things.

Of course this is not the main reason I do that. I just am that type of person. :P

I loved that thing!

Too bad I lost it when playing in a flooded wooded area with it in my pocket.
