Having trouble figuring out where/what secrets exist in Star Fox Adventures? Wanna find all the "Cheat Token" wells? Well here's the thread for it.

-There are 8 Cheat Token Wells, and their locations are as follows:

1. Thorntail Hollow, in the Store
2. Litefoot Village, up on the ridge
3. Cape Claw, use the Sharpclaw Cannon to blast open the cliff face near the temple's waterfall
4. Ocean Force Point Temple, after the Electronic Shock Pad Puzzle, it's on your right, go through the pool of water to get to it.
5. Ice Mountain: Use a Bomb Spore Pod, plant it, and use the staff fire function to blast open the sealed cave
6. Volcano Force Point Temple, outside the inner entrance (go under the Drawbridge), use a moon seed to make a vine sprout up.
7. Moon Temple, use a moon seed to make a vine sprout up.
8. Snowhorn Wastes, float down the river until your ice float platform dissolves at the end

-If you go atop the Thorntail Store, with the Cloudrunner's Flute/Whistle, and play it, a baby cloud runner will fly off, then come back and bring you something.

-Use a Sharpclaw Disguise to pick up Shapclaw Boxes, you cannot pick them up while you look like Fox

-The 3 Staff Upgrade Locations:

1. Atop the Thorntail Store, inside the sealed cave. Blast your way in with a Bomb Spore, then light up the actuators/sensors in the room clockwise.
2. Snowhorn Wastes, have Tricky dig the hole to find the entrance
3. Cape Claw, use the Sharpclaw Cannon to blast open the giant rock on the beach

-If you go under the dock at Cape Claw, you can use the Rocket Boost Pad hidden in the water to shoot up onto the dock, and you don't have to pay BribeClaw to let you past.

-To find the Litefoot Babies, you must go under the Sacred Mound to find 3 of them for 1 Litefoot Mom, 3 more in the forest ridge for another Litefoot Mom, and the other 3 are in trees outside the gates of the village, use the staff to hit the trees and make the babies fall from the tree.

the only thing is, I never figured out what the cheat tokens actually DO. I know in one you 'hear' James' talking to Fox, but that is about it
You got to go into the maze under the Rockbiter Warp Stone (forward on the control stick), and get to the well in the center of the maze, and throw the tokens in there. Yeah, James talks to him, other hints are given on how to get through the game (vague broad strokes), and then some of them unlock the game rewards, like RedFox8 said.

And those rewards are pretty much useless.
Pretty much so, except I like listening to the jukebox. :)

I think that there was a secret where you could make Krystal go on the roof of Krazoa Palace, without getting trapped in the crystal yet, and you see the Krystal on the roof with no one in it...how do you do that?

No, they (Mr. Krystal and DZ) told me about it once, but I forgot how to do it...

Ah, okay. I heard there was a cheat code to enter that would let you make Fox look like Krystal in the game. Mr. K. was even offering a financial reward to anyone who gave him the code over on the Krystal Archive (sucks that thing crashed for a while, glad it's back).

What, was it a GS code?
I dunno, what's a "GS Code"?

Does Gamecube even work with those "Gameshark" Dongles? I guess so, since the console was made in '01, and Dongles still worked in those days.

I agree though, a button combo is kinda early/mid 1990's. xD

I had an Action Replay with my Game Cube. However, the software was infuriating, and it took up the Slot A memory card slot. However, the codes worked, and that was good enough for me.
Oh, cool! Sucks that stuff happened though...but I'm glad the codes worked.

If you hit the tree with your staff outside the village, the baby Litefoots fall out of them and go back to the village. Get all 3 Litefoot mothers' 3 Litefoot babies back home, and they'll open the Litefoot hut with the barred door, granting you access to it and the fuel cells inside of it.

I kind of liked the idea with the cheat tokens, at least the parts where James 'spoke' to Fox and how the 'fortune' talked about 'a close friend that is thinking about you'. By that time I was totally confused what that meant until I checked that it was talking about Falco all along, since he left the Team by that time LMAO!

But otherwise, the tokens didn't had much of an effect in the game which made me actually sad, only the Jukebox made me cry out of happiness because I totally love the Soundtrack of the game (Ocean Temple, Cloudrunner Fortress and Cap Claw ahoy!).

The one with the 3 Lightfoot children is actually not that hard to find, you only need to talk to the parents that requests you to find their 'naughty children'.

But, come to think of it, there is surely a place that bugs me, and that's in Thorntail Hollow. Near the Market there is a small window where you can see some fuel cells, but I never really figured out how to get them. To be honest, I really haven't played it for a very long time now, maybe I forgot about something in this area that gives you access to this small place.
Well, to get to those fuel cells, you need to get a bomb spore, run over to the waterfall at Thorntail Hollow, and plant a bomb spore right at the foot of the waterfall. It will grow, you can blast it, and a cave under the waterfall will open up, leading you to the room with the fuel cells and the window. :)

I like the Cheat Tokens where James talks to Fox, and the one where you can play the Jukebox , as well. Those are the best cheats.

Yeah, the 3 LiteFoot Mothers are easy to find, the babies, especially for the ones in the trees, are not, unless as I posted before, you know where to look (outside the gate, hit the tree trunks to get them down). :)

(To the Staff, I accidentally clicked "Report" instead of "Quote" when I was trying to quote Saphiria-Mercury O'Hedge, I'm sorry about that staff, and to you, Saphiria-Mercury O'Hedge. I didn't mean to click "Report". She did nothing wrong.)l

(deleted accidental duplicate post)

The most infuriating part of the game for me was finding those stupid cloudrunner children. The musclefoot challenge was a piece of cake for me.
The Cloudrunners? Yeah, blowing that horn..I still hate the sound of that thing to this day because of that.

Musclefoot challenge: Easy
Test of Fear/3rd Krazoa Spirit: Pain in the ass. I can pass it, but I have no idea who to develop a really good strategy for it.

All you have to do during that is to ignore what is happening on the screen and focus on the bar on the top. Also you have to be ready beforehand when the thing suddenly jerks to the side during that one part. That's what Youtube is for :P
I knew that already, but the thing is, I was wondering if there was a trick to beating the thing when it jerks side to side like that, how do I best hold it steady? I'll say one thing, at least it expands each time, but I think you gotta rigorously wiggle the stick from side-to-side mega fast, to the left and to the right, in short jerking motions.

@Julius:
Thanks for the reminder and don't worry about the report, everything's fine xD

Please don't remember me on the test of fear. The first time I did this, I needed a whole week before I finally got through it. The problem about the whole test is, that your brain tells you to dodge the attacks of the raptors that appear, you automaticly try to move away with Fox which let you fail the test, since you are moving the stupid parameter needle to the left/right. It's a very bad psychic game they put up there, but I also enjoy it because it's actually the hardest test in the game.

Okay, cool. Sorry about that. *Whew* :animesweat:

Yeah, that needle is mega unpredictable, it keeps trying to move one way all the time one minute, then to the other way for a second, and then to the previous way constantly all over again, or vice versa.
