Okay, this is an idea I've had for a while. A Star Trek/Star Wars/StarCraft/Starfox/Diablo/Evangelion/Firefly/Cthulhu Mythos/F.E.A.R. crossover. Yes, the whole "Evangelion meets Cthulhu meets F.E.A.R." part was partially inspired by the fanfic "Aeon Entelechy Evangelion", but this goes down a different route, as seen at first glance by what it's been crossed over with. Here's the plot:

It's 2504 AD. The Earth-Cardassia Alliance, formed from the merger of two former enemies, the United Earth Directorate and the Cardassian Union, because of the war with the Shan, rules most of the known galaxy. Not only are humans and Cardassians members, but the Alliance has conquered several races as well, including the:

Nug-Soth:

Rigelians:

Twi'leks:

and Cerinians:

(Yes, I know the Twi'leks come from the SW galaxy normally. This is a fan RP. They evolved in the Milky Way in this.)

The Alliance usually lets its subject races rule themselves mostly. As long as the taxes are paid, the peace is kept, and troops are provided, the Alliance leaves each world alone.

However, when all seemed to be going right for the Alliance, disaster struck. An experimental subspace reactor overloaded, and brought the attention of the Mi-Go:

The Mi-Go, seeing these younger races using such technology, decided that they weren't ready for such tech, and sent them a message. The message came like this:

Which led to the Battle of Tykon VIII. Also known as the Tykon VIII Massacre, in which the Tenth Fleet is all but annihilated by thirty Mi-Go cruisers. However, eighteen Mi-Go vessels were destroyed, so the Alliance wasn't completely curbstomped.

Things get worse, however, when the Shan Remnants attack, shocking the still-recovering Alliance. If that wasn't bad enough, reports of strange and powerful beings start arriving from multiple planets. Giant creatures with unnatural powers have begun attacking. These creatures, are of course, the Great Old Ones.

Matters are made worse, however, when portals open up on various planets, and horned creatures resembling the demons of the myths of so many planets pour out. Even worse, these creatures seem to actually be demons, claiming they come from a plane called the "Burning Hells".

And if that wasn't bad enough, psychic super-soldier Paxton Fettel:

has gone AWOL.

But all clouds have a silver lining! A high-ranking government official, and head of the recently-founded Eibon Foundation, Gendo Ikari:

has recently developed a weapon that can fight off these creatures, the colossal cyborgs known as the Evangelions.

More good news comes from the Alliance Navy. Recently, a ship capable of going toe-to-toe with Mi-Go Cruisers, the Odyssey, has just been built:

This leaves you in a brave new galaxy. You have just been recruited by the Eibon Foundation.

Player Races:
Human
Cardassian
Nug-Soth
Rigelian
Twi'lek
Cerinian

Player Careers:
Starship Captain
Ghost (Psychic Assassin)
Force-Sensitive
Necromancer
Sorcerer/Sorceress
Fighter Pilot
Intelligence Operative
Eva Pilot
Or, just some civilian who happened to have special skills that caught the Foundation's eye.

If you choose the Sorcerer/Sorceress class, your powers are pretty much limited to Fire, Ice, and Lightning spells. Necromancers can't actually resurrect anyone who's died.

Oh, and in case you're wondering what Cardassians look like:

So, who's up for this?

The Cardassians were one of the founding races of the Earth-Cardassia Alliance. The other alien races were ones that were conquered by the Earth-Cardassia Alliance.

(So were Cerinians Conquered? Also some of my characters are Ferinian which is a wolf like Cernian from a nearby planet likely in the same system. Also last i recall i thought Cardassian's weren't exactly in good relations with Earthlings. And I'll be honest I think races like the Cerinian's would have likely accepted a alliance rather than be conquered.. And what of the Zerg or Protoss?)

Protoss would likely accept the alliance

The Zerg however unless some way would be found to either control them or do something to the queen of blades will likely be hostile.

Well, even though they were conquered, the Cerinians, Rigelians, Twi'leks, and Nug-Soth still have pretty much equal standing with humans and Cardassians in this. They ECA wants to try and bring all races under it's fold, sort of like the Tau Empire from Warhammer 40,000. It tries to be a democratic society, but has to resort to some authoritarian means in order to survive an extremely hostile galaxy.

The Protoss, Zerg, and Borg exist in this universe, but they haven't been encountered by the ECA yet.

Surprized they haven't at least seen the Zerg they are pretty agressive.. unlike the borg also the Zerg don't absorb every species they find... they actually take and then modify a species before it is encorperated into the swarm the Deadly hydralisk was taken from a passive herbivore species... so it shows just how far down the zerg can go in gentics... i'd be really worried about Borg/Zerg Hybrids..

Anyway i'm up joining as 2 characters

Alex Darkfur: Cerinian/Ferinian hybrid (telepathic wolf/fox) just a friend of Khrillian currently on his ship
Khrillian:Protoss commander Adapt in many forms of combat has reaches Templar Status but still wears his highly modified Zealot arm blades.

The Gantrithor II named after Tassdar's super carrier is a new Protoss super carrier dubbed an Assault carrier for it's massively upgraded hull compared to standard carriers it carries a set of ion blasters for light strafing and two anti matter missile anti-ship batteries along with the standard interceptor production facility and room for smaller ships it's accompanying escort the Dark star a Void Ray and the Borealis a Cerinian Designed Righteous class Destroyer.(see my character sheet) make up a small but formidable fleet of ships currently heading towards a Alliance held sector their intentions are unknown at this point.

(I edited a small bit on there telling you a few details on the small fleet that my characters will be piloting.

IF you don't mind I also might try controlling a Zerg swarm.... they're likely coming to absorb some of the more powerful species into the swarm... or kill them all the Zerg Rely solely on Genetic and thus posses no known technology beyond what Kerrigan uses. Don't underestimate their biological swarms that fly through the void of space. (Just for the record i have played warhammer 40k Dawn of war and do know alot about the races so i have no trouble understanding the Tau Empire... like thier tech but I also like the Eldar)

and uhh are the cerinains extinct in this rp?

For the record, the Lylat System also exists in this, but hasn't been discovered by the Alliance.

uhuh so i have 2 questions

1.Aren't Cerinains Extinct or near exctinction?
2.You mind if I control a Zerg Swarm?(Could account for some of the demons seen though at the moment they are passive they are waiting for the right moment to infest beings they see fit as parts of the swarm.

1. Not in this reality, no.
2. I was thinking we could all take turns showing things from the villains' point(s) of view.

One last note: The Klingons also exist in this setting, but haven't been encountered by the Alliance either.

As for why I've been away for a while, well, my dog just died, so I hadn't been up to it for a while.
