(I apologize for the tardiness in starting this. Big storm blew through here, and my internet signal was virtually useless.)

As the Unseen Predator headed through the TDIG Rift under cloak, Faasnu, Keesha and Charlene led everyone to another part of the ship, where Faasnu brought up an image of a planet.

"This," he said, "Is our destination: Dxun. Historical reference states that Dxun was the heart of the Mandalorian War effort during the Mandalorian War. Recently, however, the DMC has received a priority-one distress beacon. We've been asked to investigate."

"Why were we headed there again?" Charlene asked.

"Since receiving the distress beacon," Keesha explained, "We've not heard a peep from our allies there; we don't know what's happened. It could be a downed transmitter, or in worst-case scenario, something wiped out the facility's inhabitants."

"While on Dxun," Faasnu said, "We must keep an eye out for Mandalore; he will likely have operational knowledge of what happened here. Any questions so far?"

"Yes," Faasnu answered, "Mandalore is the leader of the Mandalorians. As such, he will likely know what it is that caused the communications disruption."

"If he still lives," Charlene commented.

"Yes, if he still lives," Faasnu affirmed. "We'll likely need powered battle armor; Dxun isn't without it's own dangers. If you don't have any, there's some in the armory over there."

Faasnu gestured, and the armory door slid open. Charlene headed inside and began donning the Spartan armor she nicked from Cairn.

(Wait a tic - where's FF and shamen?)

"You may want to get a little extra firepower," Keesha suggested. "In case whatever caused the communications disruption is still in the vicinity."

Charlene returned from the armory armored in her modded Spartan armor and armed with a BR55 Battle Rifle modified with an integrated Kadgeron Disruptor and a powerful mini-scope. In a holster was a modded M6D pistol.

(Kursed, if you want to bring in a new char, you can have them meet us on Dxun.)

Faasnu armored up and nabbed Charric, his heavily-modified Disruptor Rifle, to go with his multiple lightsabers. Keesha was already armed and armored. They all headed to the cockpit, where they took control as the Unseen Predator dropped out of the TDIG Rift. Dxun was in sight, and so was Onderon. But something was... different. The Onderon Military fleet was present, and things looked... normal. Like nothing was wrong. Then again, Onderonians wouldn't care what happened to the Mandalorians on Dxun.

"Let's take her in for a landing," Keesha suggested.

"Affirmative," Charlene said. "Foxtrot, you getting any comm chatter?"

"If what I am getting is accurate," Charlene's AI answered, "The Onderonians are on edge; they've sent three search teams to ascertain the reason their Mandalorian 'allies' have stopped broadcasting. None have returned."

"That doesn't necessarily mean anything," Keesha commented. "Dxun is dangerous enough by itself."

"But the Mandalorians have an alliance - if uneasy - with the Onderonians. They'd escort Onderonian Military personnel to their camp. If their scouts were attacked, as the Onderonians think, then whoever - or whatever - took out the Mandalorians may still be in the vicinity," Charlene explained.

"She's right," Faasnu agreed. "Foxtrot, is the cloaking device still engaged?"

"Affirmative," Foxtrot replied.

"Good," Faasnu said. "Keep it engaged, find us a safe landing zone. Let's stay alert, people. Something is out here."

"Navera," Foxtrot requested, "Please scan Dxun and find us a suitable landing zone."

"Something occupying your time, Foxtrot?" Charlene asked.

"Yes," Foxtrot answered, "I've been querying the Mandalorian and Onderonian computers, and... well, what do we have here...?"

"Find something?" Charlene asked Foxtrot.

"Hey, Valtozaz - ever hear of something called Project Desolator?" Foxtrot asked.

"What about it?" Faasnu asked.

"It appears the Mandalorians stumbled across a piece of something called 'the Desolator,'" Foxtrot explained. "From what I've gleaned from their computers, it is one of four vital pieces of Technology that can combine to create a devastating superweapon."

"That explains the name," Keesha commented. "What are the other pieces?"

"Nova 12," Charlene responded. "That's one of the pieces, right?"

"Affirmative," Foxtrot answered. "I'm picking up traces of the chemical; not enough to cause us any harm, but I'd recommend you all go out in environment suits, just in case."

As the Unseen Predator landed in a clearing, Charlene asked, "Can you detect any survivors?"

"If they are about, they're laying low," Foxtrot replied. "I'll keep you informed."

"Let's move, team," Faasnu said. They headed down to the exit, and into the Dxun Jungle...

Thanks to the warning, Faasnu sensed the interloper and did not attack. "Drem Yol Lok, madame," Faasnu greeted her.

"Who are you?" Charlene asked.

Faasnu nodded by way of a greeting. "Mathayus Indari, Dragon'taan Marauder Corps - although most of the galaxy knows me as Darth Faasnu," he said. "My wife, Keesha, and one of the DMC's finest operatives, Charlene."

"I don't suppose you know a shortcut to the Mandalorian Outpost here on Dxun?" Charlene asked.

"Why not?" Faasnu asked.

A roar came from somewhere in the distance.

"If we need to get to the Mandalorian outpost, I suggest we get moving," Charlene suggested. "Dxun wildlife is very aggressive."

"Very well," Faasnu commanded, "Take point. We'll cover you."

"Tell me I'm not the only one getting a bad feeling about this," Charlene grumbled.

When the team reached the Mandalorian outpost, they halted just shy of the entrance.

"Foxtrot, can you hack through this door?" Charlene asked.

"The schematics look like spaghetti," Foxtrot responded. "You'll have to figure something out on your end."

"Uh, people... you might wanna look at this," Keesha said. She stood before a gaping hole in the wall.

"Well, the pattern of the damage indicates the wall was blown open from the inside. Someone was in a hurry to leave," Keesha assessed.

"I'm picking up a radio signal from within," Foxtrot reported. "I think it may be Mandalore. The frequency is encrypted, but--"

"Can you put us in contact with him?" Charlene interrupted.

"I was getting to that," Foxtrot said. "The frequency is encrypted, but silent. Either Mandalore is dead or incapacitated, or has gone radio-silent."

"Either way," Faasnu said, "We have to go in there. Rae, take point; Alex, you and Keesha cover her; Zack, you and I will be bringing up the rear. Move out."

(Gah, damn storms...)

The teams moved inside the Mandalorian outpost, keeping weapons ready. In direct contrast with the area outside, the interior of the outpost was eerily silent, with only a hollow booming to disturb the otherwise perfect silence.

"You're coming up on the signal," Foxtrot said. "Veer east. You should see a doorway."

"Valtozaz," Keesha asked, "Can you see anything?"

"It's worth something if you're a sniper," Faasnu said. "Get up there and see if you can spot anyone living, Mandalorian or otherwise."

"Foxtrot," Charlene asked, "Is that signal still broadcasting?"

"Affirmative," Foxtrot responded. The AI paused, then added, "But I did get into the Mandalorians' computer systems, and I found out that they were working on an upgraded version of the Nova 12 chemical."

"Lemme guess," Keesha deduced, "Somehow it got loose?"

"An unknown party released the chemical and took off with the device," Foxtrot affirmed. "Furthermore, I've found out another part of this 'Desolator' Superweapon... something called the 'Planet Prison.'"

"Great," Faasnu growled. "Where is it?"

"Coruscant," Foxtrot answered, "This 'verse."

"Let's find Mandalore, if he yet lives, then we high-tail it to Coruscant," Faasnu said. "Valtozaz, can you pinpoint Mandalore's location?"

The team headed to the area that Valtozaz's ping indicated, and found a few Mandalorians, still alive. One of them wore the specially-ornamented armor of Mandalore.

"Well, you certainly took your sweet time," he said.

"We were unaware of the situation on Dxun, or we'd have been here sooner," Faasnu responded. "Is this all of you that survived?"

"If there are other survivors," Mandalore replied with the shake of his head, "They're radio-silent."

"Who attacked you?" Keesha asked.

Mandalore shrugged. "Who knows?" he answered. "The bastards wore adaptive camo; they barely registered on sensors."

"Sounds familiar," Faasnu commented.
