Appearance: Raihane is an athletically built older gentlemen who enjoy physical activity and sports, thus this leads to an athletic body type as well as a relatively well rounded health status. He stands at 6'1'' at 185 pounds. The weight is relatively common for someone his size and he isn't overweight nor does he see the need to lose more wight.

Raihane can be seen donning a common Imperial officers uniform without any insignia do his position in the Imperial Department of Armaments and Production. Raihane typically adorns his Imperial uniform but also wears a variety of suits when he is on non-Imperial business or at social events.

Personality: Raihane is a chameleon when it comes to his personality, he has no problem adapting his personality to the group he surrounds himself with, however he does have a core set of virtues and "rules" which he abides by. Raihane is a dedicated Imperial and believes in the Imperial way of life, which leads him to have very strong values such as loyalty and perseverance. He is a strong believer in the virtue of Order and its something that is shown in his often hierarchical nature.

Raihane is a calculating and meticulous person, he is a very skilled diplomat and businessman who seeks to gain fortunes for both himself and his allies. Raihane has a fantastic knowledge of politics and economics thus making his conversations with the upper echelons of society easy and permits him to be more relaxed around people of power, something that he cherishes.

Weaknesses and Strengths: Raihane is well educated which leads him to have a relatively strong basis he is intelligent and well spoken, two traits which he has carried with him into business. Raihane however is ruthlessly ambitious especially in his business adventures; leading him to have somewhat a substantial base of business enemies who sometimes have sought to undermine his efforts. Though Raihane often recovers from such attempts due to his charming personality.

History: Raihane was born into the relatively middle class Vandergraff family from Ravelin, the capital of Bastion and the epicenter of the Galactic Empire, better known as the Imperial Remnant. Raihane's father, Stel was the owner of a local munitions producer in Bastion and supplied the Imperial Army and Navy with E-11 Carbines, he had received permission to run a local serial on planet and made a substantial amount of money in the arms industry. When the Disciples of Ragnos rose they contacted Stel and he was forced to contend with the threat of death if he did not supply the units which betrayed the leadership of the Remnant. Stel complied and supplied the Disciples with cases of E-11 Carbines and Imperial Detonators. Stel was eventually arrested at the end of the Disciples crisis and was placed in front of an Imperial Judge, Stel however was let free when he proved that he was threatened with death from within the upper echelons of the Remnant.

Stel almost left the business but he kept in it because of the money, he had wanted the best for his son Raihane when he was born a few months before the crisis ended. Stel continued the company eventually expanding into a bigger operation and building his first two factories elsewhere on Bastion. This lead to an expanded role in the Imperial armaments industry, Stel and the Vandergraff Munitions Corporation were eventually granted an exclusive contract by the Imperial Remnant and Stel's life was officially set. Stel became an advisor to various Imperial economist and even attended a few sessions of the Imperial Council of Moffs where he earned a decent amount of influence for his family securing his sons future in the Empire. Raihane advanced at a relatively common pace and attended some of the finest Imperial schools on Bastion before entering the University of Ravelin engineering program, one of the finest Imperial engineering programs in the galaxy. Raihane followed in his fathers footsteps and after graduation became Vice President of Armaments in his fathers company. Raihane developed several experimental ammunition rounds to be used in the upgraded versions of the E-11 carbines but none were approved by the Council of Moffs so Raihane moved towards experimental weaponry and received some notoriety for his often solid and impressive weapons which some of went on to see limited use in the Imperial Army.

Raihane's father Stel passed away and Raihane assumed the mantle of President of the Vandergraff Munitions Corporation but instead of focusing on weapon building he expanded the company itself. Raihane acquired two minor shipyards at Gwori and formed the Vandergraff Group which was the umbrella organization to all the subsidiaries that Raihane had owned. Raihane also purchased a massive stake in the Yaga Minor Industries which warranted him an impressive amount of wealth and access to some of the higher ups in the Imperial bureaucracy. Vandergraff made a speech to the Council of Moffs in 55 ABY and was subsequently asked to join the newly formed Imperial Department of Armaments and Production which was created in the wake of his speech to the Council. Raihane became the leader of the department with the title of Secretary of Armaments and Production. Raihane formed various organizations to help effectively run the Remnant's efforts to rebuild their once powerful military. In 62 ABY he nationalized Yaga Minor Industries, the shipyards at Jaemous and at Gwori giving the Imperial Remnant a powerful capital ship building industry as well as a powerful lesser ship producing capability.

Raihane was first introduced to General Xis Imperious at a social gather celebrating the General's promotion, Raihane and Xis hit it off and Raihane became a loyal believer in Imperious's vision for a revived Galactic Empire. Raihane dedicated himself to re-arming the Imperial Remnant and re-establishing the decimated Imperial Fleet. Raihane visited his contacts in the Corporate Sector in 63 ABY and was asked by General Imperious to visit them again sometime during 64 ABY. Raihane was unsure of the General's willingness to cooperate with the Federation but Imperious assured that Raihane would be able to use the resources of the Federation for their own benefit. Raihane had initially chastised Xis for compliance with the Federation rule, but eventually agreed that such a use was needed to allow the Remnant to rebuild.
