Luxurious, that had been her first thought as she looked through the apartment. It was lavishly decorated, paints--nude and of landscapes hung on cream walls with golden stencils. Grand ornaments and surfaces-- not to forget the airy space. Mina approved. Of course, she had no doubt anything she would have used would be anything like this, Mina had far simpler and refined taste. Plus, less wealth to throw around. The Zeltron had never taken up the offer to visit, she had met and dined with him elsewhere but never came to the place he called home.

She had been touched when she had spotted in the bedroom, several holo-pictures of her as a child. It seemed that he had never really forgotten he had a daughter. Shaking her head she reminded herself why she was here. Her father was in danger. Ever aware of the lightsaber concealed underneath her long leather jacket, covering the black jumpsuit she had discovered-- it had been 10% off and it wasn't as if she couldn't have afford it anyway. Mina Devor was a self-sufficient and self-made woman of means. She also liked a bargain. Violet eyes were narrowed as she made out the smashed ornaments, the signs of a struggle.

Yes. A struggle-- her father had been a powerfully built man, even at his current age he was not one to be easily overpowered. There was a strange pang in her chest as she realised that she had arrived too late. Intellectually she knew that her chances of arriving in time had been nearly none, the fact she had arrived so soon was a credit to the love she had for her father-- long neglected but still there. She remembered the disbelief when the message had arrived.

Danger. Stay out of sight-- threats have been sent, others already gone.

Love

Father

Using her considerable network of contacts she had discovered that it was more serious than she could have thought. Her father was in danger, he had thought to warn her. She had certainly felt pretty low that she had declined his last dinner invitation now. She had hijacked a lift from a friend, Terrs Kwank had not been entirely happy having to arrange to leave sooner than he had planned but he had been monetry compensated and had done so with nary a murmer as she transferred the credits to him.

Mina responded immediately when she felt the presence of two others. Had whoever had taken her father left people waiting-- had it all been a ruse to get to her? Mina had enemies, ones she admittedly could have avoided if not for her perchance to be a tad spiteful. But something told her that this wasn't the case. Making a note that once she dealt with these tresspassers—look out Rovnak Torvalan. The man certainly owed her enough favours by now, plus she was sure that a Senator being kidnapped came under his juridiction.

She turned around, Mina wasn't afraid but she was curious. Mina immediately went for her lightsaber, the weapon pulled out but not ignited as she twirled around swiftly to face them.

“Lightsaber—a sith, rotten sith..they just had to be involved.” A male voice hissed and before Mina had the chance to correct what she was now assuming was a Jedi a blue blade narrowly missed her side as she prepared to ignite her old but faithful weapon.

“Don't be hasty boys-- I'm not a Sith...-” she trailed off as a second blue blade swung at her. Furiously she ducked, barely a hair breadth of distance between the heat of the lightsaber blade. “-what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?” She snapped as she prepared to ignite her lightsaber and show the colour was not a Sith one, to stop them long enough to explain. However, she had forgotten that these men were force-users as well and the next thing she saw was an expensive lamp coming right at her. Then it all went black.

She didn't know how much time had passed but she knew she was restrained and disarmed. Mina felt fury and self-indignation rise. How dare they just-- oh, who was she kidding. Mina was just mad because she had been taken down without a fight. She was out of practise but not nearly so to be taken down so easily..or was she? No, Mina had simply not wanted to hurt them. That was what she decided as she opened her eyes blearily to see the same two who she presumed had attacked and knocked her out standing talking to someone. A familiar presence.

“...Grandmaster she had a lightsaber, this must prove that the Sith are involved in this—obviously she isn't one of the more experienced ones because we took her by surprise. “

Gritting her teeth she tested her restraints, ones that would stop her from accessing the force. However the mention of Grandmaster almost made her smile-- she hoped Rovnak tore those two wet beneath the ear Jedi a new one-- better him than her. Mina was feeling particular spiteful because her head was pounding. “Aren't you going to give me chance to defend myself?” She called out lazily-- no worries, no fears. She knew she was in no danger here. The blue haired woman was counting the seconds. Counting the seconds until she was free from the restraints. It did bother her that time was being wasted from finding Papa Devor-- she hadn't forgotten but in a surprisingly optimistic frame of thinking all she could think with a half-smile was that: At least she hadn't had to spend time trying to get a hold of Rovnak for his assistance. She had gotten a free ride.

The throbbing of her head wasn't yet receding, she hoped that it would pass quickly so she could focus on more important matters. Number one: Mina was going to make the two who knocked her out pay. Number two: she had to find her father, she hadn't been reconciled with him recently to lose him. Number three: Rovnak was never going to let her live it down that she had been taken down so easily and mistaken for a Sith.

The day on Coruscant had started just as any other had, it allmost seemed he relived the same thing day after day by now. Complaints from the Federation were heard and discarded, mostly due to the fact that some Jedi or other had stepped on a pompous officer's toes to complete their objective, something rovnak himself was rather fond of just to remind them that the Federation itself wasn't the greatest peacekeeping force in the galaxy. After that there had been pleas for help that were addressed and a Jedi was dispatched to deal with the situation on a random world, most often in the outer rim or colonies. Of course, after that came his favorite time of the day, the hours when padawans begged to be trained by the grand master to such an extent that one of them inevitably challenged another to a duel and both got sent to the infirmary.

To top the frustrating day off, there was news that a senator had been kidnapped, not something that the Jedi Master wanted to hear. His appointment to the position had been rather recent, compared to some of the other members of the order he was young for a grand Master and evena council member, but he had proven himself time and again. Unfortunately such events that proved his worth had thrust him into the position of Grand Master of the Jedi Order, a position that, although he had one day thought he might ascend to the role, he had felt extremely underprepared for. The only thing that kept him in the position was the fact that he was one of the few viable choices for the position at the moment, blunt enough to get the point across but of such a diplomatic and careful mind that he managed to keep people's heads level and diffuse situations very easily.

Unfortunately, what he felt didn't matter at the moment, and so he had forced himself to think of it as his duty to step up, to be a Steward for the kingdom that was the Jedi Order, as it were, until the rightful ruler returned or stepped up to take the throne. He was unsure when exactly that would happen, but his sense of duty overrode his emotions and kept him in the position to aid the Jedi as much as he possible could. But his mind was torn away from such personal thoughts once again, for no sooner had he begun to delve into the rest of the day's schedule than did a pair of Knights run up to him with a third person dragged along behind them.

He recognized them isntantly, all three of them in fact, and while he hadn't seen the face of the third person, the body tone, hair color, and the clothing style easily identified the captive as one of his contacts, a friend even, and a former Jedi. The pair of Knight's didn't know this of course, but as they shot instantly into the explanation of what happened to the Grand Master, he sighed and shook his head rubbing his forehead slowly in thought and exasperation. As much as he loved the shoot first and ask questions approach himself, it really needed to be toned down when dealing with the appearance of individuals in places and positions they ought not to be in.

"Rovnak... sorry, Master Torvalan, she is a Sith, of that we're certain!"

"Just because she had a lightsaber does not mean she was a Sith," he responded slowly.

"But she activated it and attacked us in kind! She was at the scene of the crime for who knows how long, she could have been the cleaner for the operation," the second knight stated in protest.

"Then where's her other equipment hmm? where's the repair tools and replacement items for what was broken?" he asked the pair.

"Maybe she didn't have time to get them? Maybe we missed an accomplice on our way down," replied the first jedi.

"Have I ever told you how much I love to shoot first and ask questions later at times?" Looks of confusion slid across their faces, and soon the Zeltron spoke which prompted rovnak to chuckle before he stole the saber from the grasp of one Knight, smacked both of them on the back of the Head with a heavy-handed hit, and offered the lightsaber back to the captured informant he had becoome so familiar with. "I do honestly love the technique boys, but like I said, just because she had a lightsaber did not mean she was a Sith. In fact, if you two had bothered to ask more than one question before you attacked her, I would have to order both of you to go practice with Master Fashkarin for the next three hours in hand-to-hand combat."

"What?! What do you mean? Why do we have to go train with the Fish?"

"You'll adress him properly!" Rovnak shouted as he struck them both upside the head once more. "And you will report to him because this is Mina Devor, a good friend, and an informant of mine who has a connection and information on our kidnapped senator. So if you two would like to stay and discover how unpleasant a teacher I can be for threatening a close friend of mine; please do. Otherwise, I recommend you report to Master Fashkarin and tell him that I sent you. He'll be sure to give you the royal treatment. Now go, both of you!"

Without a word both turned away and walked off toward the training chambers of the Temple, and as soon as they rounded the nearest corner rovnak turned with a wide grin on his face, deactivated the cuff's on the woman's wrists and helped her to her feet.

"Sorry about that, apparently my personal preference at times has become more common among the Jedi Knights. Then again, there's always one question I have to ask you before guns go off Mina," chuckled the master with a wry smile. "Drinks later?"

“Hmm...Jedi these days have no finesse. I recall that restraint was what we practised,” Mina answered, it was easy to ignore the pounding headache now that she knew that the two Jedi responsible would not be having a particularly fun time-- she could be a tad spiteful. Now that her vengence was fulfilled, without her having to even lift a finger she was glad that Rovnak freed her from her restraints. The violet eyed Zeltron made a show of rubbing her wrists after she had been given a hand to her feet. The slim wrists were unmarred but Mina had disliked her inability to move them freely. The thirty year old woman felt a sense of nostalgia, why, the last time she had been in the Temple she had told the Council rather crudely what she thought of them and handed in her resignation. She had also said she would never return willingly—at least she had been dragged here in cuffs, that saved her from going back on the words spoken in anger.

She made a show of stretching, before she answered him. “Drinks sound good, but my father comes first, Rovnak.” Her words had none of her usual light-hearted, sometimes teasing tone but it was all business. She had not reconciled with the man only to lose him so soon. Rovnak looked well, tall, broad-shoulders that tapered into a smaller waist. Perfectly proportioned for a Jedi of his years and abilities. He was probably one of the few people she knew that could keep up with her when it came to drinks. Her father's image came into her mind, a strange feeling of fear had settled in the pit of her stomach, she was worried about him. How could she not be? Yes, their relationship was hardly close but he was the man who had helped give life to her-- the man who despite his faults had cared for her.

She couldn't lose one of small family. “I received a message from him, warning me of danger and telling me to stay out of sight. Obviously I got a ride as soon as possible-- he was already gone, I searched the apartment and found the signs of a struggle. Then those two arrived and followed your infamous tendency to ask questions later.” A rueful smile quirked the corners of her full lips. “A Sith, now, that is a first.”

Deep inside she was struggling to keep the calm and almost-light hearted facade. It was surprising to her, but she reasoned that she had always been emotional about those she cared for. Plus, she had been knocked out-- head injuries did cause some imbalance, right? She took a breath as she looked him in the eyes. “I know this is Jedi juridiction but I want in—I need in. I missed out on so much for most my life, I've only just regained a father. I won't lose him so soon.” If it had been anyone else she would never have bared her soul so easily, but Rovnak was a friend-- he would understand the urgency that drove her to find her father. He was more than just a Senator, an influential one. He was her flesh and blood.

The answer was of course, expected from the former Jedi, he and the Zeltron had something of a standing relationship of friendship, but what else was behind that he was not sure. for some reason, rovnak felt there was more there than idle friendship, something that he felt might be more present, more available to him, with the taking in of spirits. It was difficult to say, but every time they were drinking he felt something, but what it was he was too polite or peraps afraid to ask. But that was not the point of this conversation, instead it turned rather serious in regards to the senator, and sentimental as well, seeing as it was her father.

Could he relate to her in this case? Could he allow her connection to the mission, a familial connection, influence the course of their time working with one another? It was questionable certainly, but were it his retired jedi Mother, or the General of the Iziz Wall, his father, he would ask to be brought into the investigation in a heartbeat. So would he let her join? That was not in question. But could he let her deal the justice she might want to should her father be in a less than savory condition? That's what he was worried about, but he couldn't blame her for what she might want to achieve, he was much the same in that regard.

"Business first pleasure later," he finally agreed with a sigh as he looked out the window to coruscant. "It won't be easy, from what i hear they left hardly any leads, even with your contacts and abilities, even with my own, we'll be hard pressed to find your father in all of coruscant, and that's if they didn't take him off planet either... I know what this means to you, as it would mean much the same if Stonehand were taken... So I'll help you, but no awkward meetings with him alright? I'd rather be known as grandmaster to a senator than as their daughter's best friend. Or am I mistaken on that point?"

Mina smiled lightly, it didn't reach her eyes. Aware of the fact she looked a little worse for wear, dark shadows underneath her long lashed eyes of dark violet--eyes that she shared with her father. The Devor Patriach had even by Zeltron standards been a remarkably handsome man, strong and robust-- Mina wondered if she had taken after him. Or at least how he had been before politics had sapped the eagerness of youth. Mina didn't know how she would react if she lost the man. There had been over a decade of no contact before as a woman in her twenties they had reconciled. She was fearful for him. He was a man, a mere man. He wasn't trained like she had been, Mina could defend herself but could her father? Would she resent the man if he died now? Yes. She knew that a lingering resentment at losing him so soon after they had mended the bridges and began to build a relationship.

Mina swallowed as she looked elsewhere. Embarrassingly there were tears surfacing, she didn't want to show that this was bothering her. She had learned composure but now faced with losing the last link to her early years-- she didn't know if she could take it. She had lost Khorin. In her minds eye she saw him laughing at her side, picking her up and tickling her before tipping her in the lake on Naboo. Those had been happier times. She took a deep breath. This wasn't going to be like the ten year mystery on what happened to her former lover, she would find her father. Yet whispers were creeping in, making her doubt that. How can a mere Senator protect himself, survive when a Jedi Knight did not? It was foolish, her father would have the best searching for him-- she didn't know the details for Khorin..it had been perhaps weeks after he disappeared that she had began searching. Now it was mere hours—statistically the chances of finding her father were better in the first day or two after his kidnapping. Mina intended to find him within that time. He would be alive. She vowed, she wouldn't lose a man she had just truly began to get to know and even love.

“I don't think I've ever had many friends. Not since I was a teenager anyway. So, you fit the bill as my best friend, “Mina answered with a light smile. Despite her clothes being donned perhaps four hours before, they were crumpled, her hair was in good need of being fixed but she found herself lacking the will to do so. She had more important things to worry about. “We'll find him, I won't stop looking—even now I still am looking for Khorin. I won't believe he is dead until I have proof.” The pink skinned Zeltron said firmly. “It would be best to try and remain professional-- I know that my personal connection will leave me with a less than clear mind.” She finished, it wasn't a promise but in her eyes she knew he would see the burning desire just to find her father, to do her best.

"Good," replied the grand master quickly as she told him that he was the closest thing she had to a best friend.

Little did either of them realize how important that was to him, how good it felt to finally have a friend, a best friend as it were, outside of the Jedi Order. Certainly they were good people, great men and women alike that took up the mantle of Jedi Knight, but sometimes it bored him, it got on his nerves and the people seemed distant. He hated that feeling, always had, and so his relationship with every apprentice or partner had always been close, and so he had forged some good friendships, but eventually, as time went on, they grew distant again, and rovnak was left even more alone when he had become the Grand Master.

He sighed for a moment as he took in what she had to say, rovnak realized that she truly meant what she spoke of. Khorin had long been gone and yet she had not given up on him, had not yet forgotten her lover and constantly searched for him. He had not been on the council when she had handed in her resignation, but it was his understanding that she had been quite emotional at the time. Even now he sensed and felt the emotion from her, but more than that, he saw it. This time it was not for some lost love though, this time it was for the last link to her lost past, a past that had taken her away from flesh and blood and had been given to the Jedi. He knew the experience well, and while he had been older he had hated the transition.

Gently he placed a hand on her shoulder, a gesture of consolation as he put his other hand on the opposite shoulder to help comfort her. It was a very personal moment to be sure, but he wanted her to be comfortable, wanted her to know that he was there to help her no matter what it came to. Would he eventually find himself in her position? He didn't know, but he hoped that through this he might actually find something beyond the Jedi Order to turn to. When she mentioned that she would have a less than clear mind, Rovnak nodded slowly as he patted her shoulders for a moment.

"We will find him, we will save him, and you'll be able to have dinner with him as you usually plan fr your visits with him," Rovnak stated confidently as he held her shoulders. "I kept tabs on you, wanted to make sure you were doing well and that everything was alright. When it comes time to save him though, from whatever captors are holding him, let us try and keep them alive for prison unless they force our hand."

Rovnak Torvalan. Rovnak was her best friend. Strangely the realisation that she did indeed consider the Grandmaster of the Jedi order as her best friend did nothing but cause amusement to rise within her--despite the situation at hand. His presence was calming, he had been forced to be wiser beyond his years when he had raced through the ranks. She admired him for holding it together so well. When he spoke confidently she longed to simply believe, not to think of anything negative but simple nod and smile. However, she knew better. The Zeltron appreciated his words, the way he tried to comfort her. Yet it wasn't doing too much good. Or was it?

In a gesture meant to console her Rovnak had placed a hand on her shoulder. The familiar gesture brought back memories from years ago, had it truly been so long since someone had did such a gesture. It seemed intimate, an intimacy that despite their friendship had never shared before. Mina accepted it and gratefully took the comfort offered. The fact that he kept tabs on her were hardly surprising, she was a ex-Jedi after all. An ex-Jedi who to some in the Jedi Order was a prime candidate for joining the Sith-- not all could understand her choice of remaining away from the Jedi. Some did not know how even now she aided them. Mina sometimes wished the serenity that the Jedi offered-- to lose herself in the currents of the force, push aside her emotions in order to focus and then return and feel once more. It was a glorious feeling, a feeling she rarely indulged in now days. Was her avoidance of the force a way for her to try and avoid the seducing whispers of the dark side? Even although avoiding the force would do little in that regard.

Mina forced another smile, one that once again did not reach her eyes. The tears nearly shed had just about disappeared, moist eyes all that was left to show. “I lived the Jedi way for ten years, just because I no longer align myself to the Jedi Order does not mean that I have forgotten the teachings. I won't exact my own justice—or at least I have no intention of exacting justice with my own weapon. Kidnapping a Senator carries a heavy price.” The tip of her tongue poked out to moisten her drying lips once she had finished speaking and instead focused on straightening her slightly crumpled clothes and realising with a smirk. “They didn't search for additional weapons-- my side-arm is still here. “ She added, as she realised that they had left her armed. It seemed that they had never been taught to search for additional weaponary on a disabled target. Honestly, what were Jedi getting taught nowadays?

Taking a breath she looked up at the taller man. “Well, let's get down to business.”

Things only seemed to become more complicated with time, and the Grand Master almost felt he had broken beyond some barrier set between them, something that had been born of different mind than his own with someone else. Slowly he retrieved his hands, a gesture of respect for the woman before him. Let it not besaid that Rovnak Torvalan was not chivalrous, indeed he had only ever been cordial with those women that he met, even those that had attempted to murder him. A smile lit his features for a singular moment as he recollected a rather vivacious Twi'lek assassin that had tried to seduce then drain him of all knowledge. The experience had been a bracing one, but not one that the human wished to experience ever again.

As he looked upon Mina, he could not help but in some way be reminded of that young woman, versatile, lively, determined, it was odd how much they had in common with those on the other side of the mirror, those that walked on the opposite side of the line in the sand that was the law. Certainly e had bent the rules and broken laws to accomplish missions in the past, but always for the greater good. Could the same be said for Mina when she was not in his company? He was unsure, but he trusted her, perhaps even with his life, and that said something about the quality of person that the Zeltron truly was.

Once she took the lightsaber that was rightfully hers from his grasp, the Grand Master determined where to begin, or at least, tried to discern some point in all the chaos that was Coruscant and this situation that could become a lead in the investigation. Mina's connection to the senator and the Jedi aside, there were few othr leads that could be of use, except perhaps, visions from the force. Everything had a point of weakness, even the world around him could be shaped with the focus of power on a single point, a single moment in time. To pour power into that point was to fracture and shatter the realm of reality and enter the realm of possibility, infinite possibility it seemed at times. Such an artful ability had been given to a blessed few, but fortunately for him, for all of the Jedi, Rovnak Torvalan possessed the ability to percieve and exploit Shatterpoints.

"Before we move further, I need to loook out upon Coruscant, perhaps my vision will reveal what physical limitations cannot," stated the Grand Master as he slowly approached the window and placed a hand on the clear pane of transparisteel.

it was as if a pulse of energy left his body, a wave of power that crumpled everything, fractured and cracked everything around him, though to the eyes of the untrained nothing would be broken, nothing would be on the brink of destruction. It was not near him that rovnak focused his mind, instead he placed faith in the idea of Mina, in the possibilities that could be her future, that could be her father's future. Hiss mind reeled as the force reacted to his touch, to the idea of Mina's various possibly eventuallities. Truly it was a liberating experience, to see the pulse of time itself as visions cast themselves with abandon upon his mind's eye. All images seemed in flux, each distorted or twisted in a different way, but hazy lines of red light and green smoke belied the intention of secrecy that the captor's wished to have.

So close, and yet so far it seemed, and only because of what lay beyond that image, as the actual location seemed to fragment itself from it's true place and show itself to him as clear as day. Rarely had the force been so clear, so focused when he had attempted to percieve points in time that could change fate itself, and now it seemed as if it beckoned to an unknown need of his, of theirs, that a piece of the future be available to him, that possible futures had been placed on display in a blur of chaos before finally his steaded himself against the wall and held his head in strain and contemplation. He was more used to the physical application of such an ability, to perceive the fractures in material things and living beings alike was a specialty of his, one that had been used on few foes, but a greater number of obstinate doors which refused to budge or be cut out otherwise.

"Red light district..." rovnak gasped as he regained his composure slowly. "Green smoke, light like a fog only carrying an enticing aroma... Does that sound connected at all?"

Awareness, a distinct awareness that a barrier had been breached. Mina swallowed. This was not what she had planned on happening. It was ridiculous to be adjusting boundaries of their friendship at a time like this. Priority went to her father. Acknowledging that they had known each other for a time long enough for this to be perfectly normal, Mina simply concentrated on returning her mind to business. Ever aware of her breathing, her chest rising and falling, the jump suit clinging to her body and reminding her that she had packed almost nothing in her haste to get the first ride-- she wondered if she could convince Rovnak to source her out some Jedi tunics, Mina had favoured the softer materials rather than the rougher weave. Even now she still enjoyed the comfort that the robes of a Jedi gave her.

Breathlessly she whispered, half in awe, "Shatterpoint." However she realised with crashing self-loathing that she could have used her Psychometry to glean from the surroundings of the apartment. How could she not have thought? Although, she did acknowledge that she had not been given much of a chance because of the two Jedi knocking her out. It was awe-inspiring to watch him, the force seemed to-- no mere words could describe what she felt. Small tears moistened her eyes, feeling the force in all its glory so powerfully had robbed her off speech. Oh, she missed the feeling of being complete.

Her hand crept to her heart, part of her was crying out for her to immerse herself into the force. To stretch the muscle that had been left to languish. She watched Rovnak, waitiing and daring to hope that he would find something. The Red Light district? In all honesty Mina had never frequented such places, all too often she got mistaken for one of the attractions. Why would they take her father there? She sought out anything that would tell her, would help her. Mina could think of nothing. If only her father had a stronger telepathic ability. If only he would speak to her now, tell her where he was.

"You better get dressed into something less inconspicuous." Mina murmured, she had studied Rovnak intently and knew that he would need to be dressed far more casually. "It is a shame I've left my entire wardrobe back. I never thought I would be saying this to you. Rovnak, we are going to the Red-Light District. Only after we check out the apartment again. I had a knack for psychometry. It occurred that I may get a reading." Mina had to be strong. She had to be a equal in this endeavour and not a dead-weight with emotional baggage. She had to be what a Jedi was taught-- detached, although she doubted she would achieve that.

It occurred to her then that she had neglected to mention exactly what she had realised. "There is a seedy bar, 'Carromo' and at night green smoke is released. Harmless stuff, it simply serves to heighten the experience--I've heard. " She looked at him. "So, we need to dress to fit in."

"Why? What's wrong with what I have on now?"

The question rang hollow however, no sooner had rovnak responded to the murmur from Mina than did he realize that in truth he really didn't look the part for someone slumming around in the red light district. Then again, minus the cloak here, add a piece of armor there, hide the llightsaber in the end of his staff somewhere more secure and secret and he'd be ready to enter the bar. Well, almost anyways, he would have to turn his kama inside out, luckily he had created it for just that purpose, so that he could keep his family symbols and his alliegiance to the Jedi showing but still secret, hidden behind the obstinate walls that were his legs once the outside was turned inward.

But it was not his wardrobe that worried him, Mina was right, although he needed to change his wardrobe a bit, the Zeltron in a flight suit and vest was not exactly ready to take an investigation into the red light district either. A sigh escaped him then, he hardly had any clothed available for a female partner, well at least, not any that were any sort of decent and he had only gotten those because one slave he had freed had decided to give him her former wardrobe piece by piece in an attempt to thank him. He had kindly let the woman down and had given her some Jedi robes, but he still had the outfits stored in a box somewhere in the abyss that was the bedroom situated here in the coruscant temple.

"We'll stop by the apartment as you like, I remember your skills Mina, if I remember they served and still serve you well sometimes," Rovnak commented with a light smile.

When she mentioned that there was a bar that fit his description, the Grandmaster offered a more serene and thankful smile, the last dregs of the momentary migraine he had received from reaching into the force to percieve a shatterpoint of the future beginning to fade as renewed confidence began to flow through him. So this is what it came to, two friends working together in good spirits with every intention to obtain successs by any just means necessary. He had faith in Mina, while he would openly admit it at some point, he prefered to keep his belief in her quiet for the time being that she would do the right thing regardless of what condition they found her father in. At least, a living condition anyways, and one that rovnak prayed to the force was the true status of herfather: alive, if a little rough around the edges, and ready to be rescued.

"But as you say, both of us need to large or minor changes to our wardrobe, I may have a few things that might fit you... Though I'm not sure you'll enjoy the idea of them nor of wearing any of my clothes that would look baggy and out of place on you," continued the watchman as he began to lead his friend down the hall and through the winding corridors that led to his room. "Won't take long, right around a few corners, down a flight of stairs, a quick wave of a hand and we'll be able to change into clothes more befitting the setting we are about to enter. I've never been to this bar, Carromo, but from what you describe what I have may have to do for our particular situation. But what do you mean... this green haze enhances the experience? Is it a stimulant fog of some kind? Or something more... shall was say, risque?"
