Name: Stygian
Manufacturer: Roche Hive Mechanical Apparatus Design and Construction Activity for Those Who Need the Hive's Machines
Product Line: Stygian-class Stealth Shuttle.
Class: Stygian-class

Role: Stealth
Affiliation: Darth Avernus

Background: Roche is a technology manufacturing program operated by members of the Verpine species. Based in the Roche asteroids, the program was in direct competition with other technology companies, and struggled with entering the galactic market. Achieving limited success with droid designs, Roche later expanded into the field of spacecraft manufacturing. However, in spite of their advanced spacecraft designs Roche had trouble competing with other, larger companies and most of their prototypes never saw any action outside the testing fields and were never massed-produce.The Stygian is one such a spacecraft, a stealth shuttle equipped with an assortment of countermeasures to keep it off radars and hidden from sight. With a bug-like design, the Stygian has six inbuilt pair of legs, out of which five can be used to operate the shuttle as a walker vehicle or to attach it to asteroids or larger spaceships, while the sixth, resembling mandibles is equipped with Plasma cutters to breach the hulls and cut holes inside other spacecrafts.

Alongside the usual Jammers, Electronic Counter Measure and Electronic Counter Counter Measure, the Stygian is also equipped with a small Adaptive Camouflage field generator that gives the ship mirroring properties and mimicry of its surroundings to effectively fool and hide from the naked eye. While the hull is reinforced, the legs are made of verpinian duralloy which is lighter but just as strong as the usual duralloy.

Technical Specifications

Armor: Reinforced Hull, and Verpinian Duralloy for the legs

Length: 25 meters

Maximum acceleration: 3,750 G

Maximum speed (atmosphere): 1,250

Hyperdrive rating
• Class 1
• Backup: Class 12

Shielding: Equipped, with backup shield generator.

Sensor systems: Advanced sensors and tracking devices

Navigation system: Equipped

Countermeasures:
• Jammers
• Electronic Counter Measure
• Electronic Counter Counter Measure
• Adaptive Camouflage Field: Generates a field that allows the Stygian's hull to change its color and luminosity to effectively mimic and blend with its surroundings as well as adapt to the changes in the background. This ability hides the shuttle only from the naked eye and the camouflage alone cannot fool any sort of sensors or other tracking devices. A primitive way of 'hiding' this is not nearly as expensive or costly in either terms of credits or power as a cloaking device and it is not even nowhere close as good as a proper cloaking device.

Armament:
• Concussion missile tubes (2) - Heavy Starfighter Scale Missiles
• Plasma Cutter
• Quad Laser Canons (3)

Crew: Pilot (1)

Minimum crew: 1

Passengers: 6

Cargo capacity: 25 metric tons

Consumables: 30 days

Other systems: The ‘legs’ allows the shuttle to also operate as a walker over short distances on land, and attach itself to asteroids and larger ships like a parasite.
